Gotta admit I thought you were talking about aggie being #60 since that's who the post you quoted was talking about.
Arrion Springs will unofficially visit this weekend, per 247.
Gotta admit I thought you were talking about aggie being #60 since that's who the post you quoted was talking about.
You said A&M was tier 2. That makes you wrong.
You're an idiot.
Post more.![]()
The unidentified in-state lineman (different from the under-the-radar juco lineman) was identified. It's Elijah Rodriguez.

Also, 2015 S Larry Pryor committed to A&M.
Finally, Arkansas' 247 page says DE Solomon Thomas will sign with them over Stanford. In response, David Shaw said, "Are you mother ers sure this kid was smart enough to get in to Stanford?"
Bobby said Emanuel Porter will NOT be visiting this weekend.
Expect 3-star 2015 OT soft verbal Connor Lanfear to switch commitment to Ags this weekend. Heard he's visiting CS this weekend and will almost certainly commit.

Not surprised about Lanfear. I don't think the new coaches have even contacted him. Anyone heard if Rodriguez made it to campus?
Lakeland Victory Christian defensive tackle Chris Nelson said something on Thursday night during a phone interview that could very well have been foresight into his college football future.
The 6-foot-2, 295-pound lineman, who was committed to Louisville before head coach Charlie Strong pulled up stakes and bolted for Texas, says he is down to Texas, UCF and USF as his final three choices.
When asked to put into his own words what type of player one of those three schools would be getting Wednesday, National Signing Day, Nelson said, "The kind of player who is a motivator. I like to bring a lot of energy to the players around me and I also like to bring that Florida swag."
There wouldn't be much reason to bring Florida swag to an in-state school. Nelson, however, laughed at the suggestion that his comment sounded like he was leaning toward Texas.
"Nah man, it's not like that," he said.http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sport...0,2231243.postHe visited Texas this past weekend and had a great time in Austin. Nelson is one of few Louisville decommits who Strong has actually chased since leaving for the Longhorn State.
"They showed me a lot of love ... made me feel at home," Nelson said.
In return perhaps he'll eventually be showing his "Florida swag."

LOL US News has gotten rid of their tier ranking system so how can I be wrong?
Apparently he will be in Norman first.
There was so much rejoicing when Mack "stepped down" that this didn't garner the attention it deserved. John Bonney spoke with the ABC affiliate in Houston recently and said, "I was at my official visit when Mack Brown resigned and he told us to go look around. He'll even, you know, talk to other coaches for you and everything."
At the time, 247 wrote this: "Mack Brown has told recruits their scholarships will still be honored. However, if they want to look around he will help them." (http://texas.247sports.com/Article/M...t-Texas-166234)
The pro-Mack crowd will argue that he was just looking out for the "kids." But I have to wonder how our recruiting class would have been affected if he had instead said something like, "You didn't commit to me; you committed to the University of Texas."

Lol because you're an idiot
Hope everyone is doing well.
FYI I'm out of town and have to be until Feb 10th, so I won't be able to post much.
LOL because you are acting like you were right, when you were full of . I'm sure it completely caught you be surprise that SMU was ranked higher than A&M. I'm sure you think changing the argument will some how make you look smarter, but you are still a fool.
Your grasping at the whole tier II thing, well guess what, when US News used their tier ranking they assigned the top 50 schools in the nation as tier I and the next 50 as tier II, so in fact since SMU is ranked 60 and Aggies are ranked 79 that means that according to US News ranking they would still be considered tier II schools.
The only ranking that would put A&M as a tier I is if you look at ranking for research ins utions, they rightfully have A&M as a a top tier research school and SMU as a tier II, but since we are talking about undergraduate school it has no bearing on this argument.
This whole argument started because I said SMU was on the same level as A&M you disagreed and I showed you where they are ranked ahead of A&M, now you think you can change the argument, well guess what idiot, your still stupid and I'm tired of making you look bad, because it's just too easy.
Now go back to your tier III tech buddies and finish your tech is better than UTSA circle jerk.
Such a great coach. We were lucky to have him. He made all those "Kids" better children. God bless that Class Act.
Your reading skills blow. You're wrong in several places here about several different things, including you saying I disagree.
If you don't understand what tier 1 means outside of the one subjective source your getting all your info from, that's on you.
Do we need to start a college ranking thread?
no, I'm good with watching vito get angry over this right here, thx.
This post alone will generate a 2000 word response.
Unless he's figured out how to google Texas tier 1 colleges
if so, he might avoid this thread for a while.
Coach_McGuire50: Very impressed with Coach Strong this morning. Talked about building relationships & accountability #TTHL
Head Coach Joey McGuire of the Cedar Hill Longhorns High School. Great program with an enormous amount of talent every year, good to see Coach Strong building some important connections within the state.
