National Signing Day schedule
Eastern Time
10:30 a.m. Travonte Valentine No. 3 DT LSU, Miami, Texas
6 p.m. Poona Ford No. 24 DT Texas, Purdue, Missouri
Valentine isn't even considering Texas, I guess he just wants a third hat on the table.
Same exact thing I was thinking. He never even visited did he?
3-star OL Elijah Rodriguez is expected to decide between Colorado, where he's committed to right now, and Texas. All signs points towards Texas in this one.
Interesting to watch the interview with Bonney

Interesting.
Swedish born QB/ATH Kevin Dillman has transferred from La Mirada High School (Ca.) to Denton Guyer. He was one of the quarterbacks that Major Applewhite visited last summer and he was supposed to visit, but La Mirada stopped that.

Quick notes from 24/7.
- DT Poona Ford looks to be down to Texas and Missouri. With Texas holding the edge.
- DT Chris Nelson seems to be a UCF and Texas battle. 50/50 at the moment.
- CB Arrion Springs enjoyed his visit, but don't expect him to flip.
- S Jah'Shawn Johnson will sign with Texas Tech.
- Dozens of Junior Day invites have been going out these last few weeks.
Get Poona, Nelson, and 1 decent offensive recruit and call it an ok finish to the class.
@DamonSayles: RB Corey Avery (@_PrinceAvery) will make decision tonight on local TV (Fox affiliate). Will he choose #HookEm? #Huskers? #Jayhawks? #PonyUp?
I didn't think we were still pursuing this guy, and the recruiting services can't agree. Scout and 247 say he doesn't have an offer, Rivals and ESPN say he does.
I trust Burton when he says Avery doesn't have an offer.
I'm glad UT was half hearted in their attempt. He's gonna be a player, imo.
Three-star OT Elijah Rodriguez flipped to Texas from Colorado, according to ESPN.
The UIL released the district realignment. The 3A District of Doom is now the 4A District of Doom.
Brownsboro
Carthage
Chapel Hill
Palestine
Henderson
Kilgore
Locally, Judson, Wagner, New Braunfels, NB Canyon, Smithson Valley and Cibolo Steeele all in one district. Pretty tough.
So NISD locally has 2 five team divisions.
Does this change their playoff allotment?
The UIL has already allowed too many teams in the playoffs. Division I and II within each A grouping, its as bad as the NBA letting 16 teams into the playoffs imo. They will probably end up having the I and II winners play each other.
Damn, thats harsh..feel for NB schools in this one.
@DamonSayles: 4-star RB Corey Avery chooses #Jayhawks over #Huskers and #Horns he said #Jayhawks could use him in the backfield & as a slot WR. He's a player. Didn't think he was coming over but thought I would share. Showed up on twitter a while ago.
invited
One of many. The trio of WR Tyron Johnson, LB Arthur McGinnis and ATH DeShawn Capers-Smith from Warren Easton (La.) have been invited. According to McGinnis they plan on attending. They planned on attending the A&M JD as well, but didn't show up. Take it for what it's worth.
I've found out that Shawn Watson loves him and that Dillman visited Louisville last summer. Murray is an A&M lock, Stidham likes Baylor a lot and Texas Tech is slowly becoming a real player in his recruitment. I believe that Dillman could become Texas' top QB target.
The 24/7 crystal ball prediction poll currently has Tech in the lead at 53%, which means he'll end up somewhere else.
Teuhema brothers have officially decommitted. We can expect Vahe to follow eventually and Lanfear is switching this weekend. So...
