HornsNation reports that RB Adam Choice of Thomas County Central (Ga.) has received an offer. He is first-cousin to Buffalo Bills RB Tashard Choice.

    A visit seems very likely.
I like him the most of all the out-of-state RB prospects (other than Fournette, of course):

I don't know if anything is official, but the news feed on 24/7 says Texas has offered 2015 ATH KeKe Coutee of Lufkin. He was told back in March that he basically had an offer at DB if he wanted it, so I don't know what position this could be for. He does prefer WR.

Also from 24/7, a new name will be in town this weekend because of the state track meet. WR Elton Dyer of South Houston is scheduled to meet with the coaches either Friday or Saturday. He hasn't received much attention at all because basketball is his first love and he's not participating in spring ball in order to focus on track. Sounds like Texas is extremely interested and could extend an offer this weekend. Porter was by his school recently and made it known that the staff wanted him on campus soon.

Dyer recently won his region with a 6'11" high jump. He's an athlete.

Texas definitely offered but the position is still unclear. 24/7 thinks it's for CB.

A couple of updates from 24/7...

-it sounds like it's now a matter of "when" and not "if" for RB/FB Daniel Gresham to de-commit from Texas. The new question appears to be whether he'll de-commit on his own or if the Texas staff will eventually force his hand. He's apparently not happy about the possibility of being a fullback hybrid and he's uncomfortable with Porter continuing to recruit elite RBs from across the country. Gresham is still talking to other schools as he was before despite saying publicly he's solid to UT.

-the newest 2015 offer went to ATH KeKe Coutee of Lufkin yesterday when Davis was in town visiting. The offer is at WR even though 24/7 thought it was for CB yesterday. Davis also evaluated DT DJ Williams and he'll be camping in Austin this summer. He probably has an offer right now if it weren't for his grades.

-another 2015 name to get familiar with is RB Jay Bradford of Splendora. He's a lesser-known name that seems to be blowing up during the spring evaluation period and he will be in Austin this weekend for the state track meet. He's expected to meet with the staff at some point. See his film below:

a medical school is long overdue for austin although i think it is a mistake to place it on campus. a medical school should always be the epicenter for a medical research area. that is, one should be able to build other hospitals and research facilities around the school.

yeah it probably should be on the other side of 35 or something, there is even a hospital 10 blocks north of there on 35 already. tho if it does result in that POS Frank Erwin center going bye bye that is a plus

Although they said publicly that the Erwin Center isn't going anywhere, it's going to get demolished down the line.

According to 24/7, a college coach has told them that RB/FB Daniel Gresham de-committed from Texas yesterday but that has yet to be confirmed by Gresham himself.

Quote from CB Darrion Johnson, from HornsNation.

"We're really good," Johnson said of his relationship with UT. "They still want me. That's my favorite school."

Also worth noting that coach Oscar Giles were by Navasota last week.

OrangeBloods reporting Texas may be trying to get in on a 2013 JUCO prospect. DT/DE Rusmin Nikocevic received a call recently from the Texas staff and they're supposed to speak more today after requesting his transcript. He's from Pierce CC in Woodland Hills, CA (same JUCO as TE Beau Sandland).

Brief update on WR Armanti Foreman who received a USC offer this week (OrangeBloods):

"I really try to go out there and be the same. I try to just be the same person every day at practice," Foreman said.

"I'm just trying to get all the young guys under me right, get them on the same page, on the same level. So when it comes to crunch time, they'll know what needs to be done, so we can go out there and get the goals we're after," Foreman said. "For me, I'm trying to be the best leader I can be, do everything I can to help our team be successful."

"I've never really needed to play defense because we've always had seniors that were ahead of me,"
Foreman said. "One of our corners that played last year, they moved him to safety. Now I think I'm going to play a lot more corner. I've been wanting to play that anyway. I've been practicing it but I've never really played it that much."

"He (Larry Porter) came down to the school but he really couldn't say too much. Basically, right now I'm trying to see what kind of camps I can get to. I really want to go to a Texas camp, so I'm going to see if I can make it,"
Foreman said. "I've been going to that one the last two years, so I'll probably be able to make it again."

"Right now, I'm going to probably narrow things down in the fall, sometime after football season. Maybe right after my last game, I'll really start narrowing things down, find out what I want to do,"
    Foreman said.
