Roberts also checked in as the 6th best DB at the Rivals Camp Series, ahead of names like Jamal Adams, Dylan Sumner-Gardner and Arrion Springs.
Ohio State has offered CB Jermaine Roberts.
Roberts also checked in as the 6th best DB at the Rivals Camp Series, ahead of names like Jamal Adams, Dylan Sumner-Gardner and Arrion Springs.
Have they announced yet if the two commits were indeed the Teuhema brothers?
No, I think the guy on OrangeBloods knows they've already notified the coaches but their decision won't be public until May 30th.
For anyone having trouble with all of the new names, I've updated the Top 100 for 2014 on the first page of this thread along with Texas' out-of-state targets. Profiles and film are there for everyone. I should've done that the first time around but now y'all can just go there if you need any information or want to simply watch highlights. I didn't have enough room to add 2015 kids.
Scratch that. I made it work and added the 2015 offers to the master list. Profiles and film for them as well.
As of today, 25 sop res have been offered.
Vince Young is walking the stage. He finished his degree.
Here's another little guy that Texas has a lot of interest in, per 24/7. RB Larenzo Stewart of Klein Oak will be camping at UT in June.

Per 24/7, Applewhite was in Allen yesterday to check on 2015 QB Kyler Murray. He will be making an unofficial visit to Texas at some point this summer and UT is expected to offer at that time. He's thought to be a heavy A&M lean because his father, Kevin Murray, played QB for the Ags. They haven't offered yet.

More quotes from S Arrion Springs (HornsNation):
“Texas is No. 2 on my list right now from the visit last week,” Spring said. “It would be Oregon, Texas and then Miami. Texas is not really a backup plan -- it’s really just between Oregon and Texas.”
“Me and Coach Akina got to sit down and chat and talk about football and how they’re going to use me, his style and my style,” Springs said. “It was a little more business this time. We got to actually sit down and talk -- he didn’t have to try to impress my mom or anything. I got to see the real coach. I want to get to the NFL, he wants to help me get to the NFL. We see eye to eye on things.”
“Trae (Gardner) wants to go to Texas, and I wouldn’t mind going there. It’s a good school,” he said. “We’re trying to stay together, but I don’t know if that will really happen. If my best friend is going to Texas, and I want to roll with him, I don’t know ... it would be crazy.”
“They (Oregon) have awesome facilities, Coach Neal is a great coach and fun to be around, they put guys in the league and that’s one of my goals,” he said. “It seems like a nice city to live in, great fan support, and there’s stuff you can do outside of football. You can go fishing or, when it’s snowing, you can go skiing. It might take me some time to get into skiing, but there is stuff to do there.”
“I’ve talked to Oregon about the whole scandal going on and Coach Neal cleared it all up,” Springs said. “He just said they’ve been bringing the same thing up for three years now and the NCAA has yet to rule on it. He said they might have a couple scholarships taken away but it really shouldn’t have an impact.”
Update on 2015 S Larry Pryor of Sulphur Springs (HornsNation):
“Texas is probably still my favorite school right now,” Pryor said. “Texas A&M would be behind them because I haven’t been able to visit Tech yet.”
“The (A&M) spring game was pretty fun,” he said. “I got to talk to coach [Kevin] Sumlin a little bit and we took a picture and all that. The actual spring game was fun. It was cool to see that many people came for the game.”
“I’m still keeping up with Coach Searels,” Pryor said. “I like him, he’s pretty cool. He’s always been nice to me.”
“I haven’t thought about doing it (committing) yet. I still want some time on it,” Pryor said. “Probably in the summer is when this really gets going.”
2015 DE Breylin Mitc of Round Rock wants a Texas offer (HornsNation). Keep his name in mind for the upcoming June summer camp:
http://247sports.com/Player/Breylin-Mitc -20675
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1394822/...ights/29628375
“Applewhite was big, because I’m a huge Texas fan. Huge,” Mitc said. “I’m diehard. I noticed him and once I saw him, I called him that night. That was the craziest thing.”
“He (Applewhite) just said I was doing good but that I need to be more aggressive with my hands,” Mitc said. “That gave me pointers on how I can get to the next level. I will be at their camp, definitely.”
“I mean, it’s pretty hard to say no (to a Texas offer),” Mitc said. “It’d be hard to say no to Texas. It’s about 98-percent automatic that I would commit. It’s where I’m from. All my friends like Texas, I like Texas. That’s the thing -- I’m Austin born and raised.”
“I’m trying to get a lot faster,” he said. “I was about a half a step away from about 10 sacks last year. An extra step of speed would get me those sacks and those little tackles I missed.”
Quotes from WR Elton Dyer of South Houston after he visited with the coaching staff at the state track meet last weekend (HornsNation):
“Oh man, it’s a blessing,” Dyer said. “The first coach that came to see me was last week from New Mexico State. I thought that was interesting. Then Boise State came in. Then Kansas. Then next thing you know UT came by. It’s a blessing.”
“They (Texas coaches) took me to the players lounge and told me there were video games in there so just go feel like you are a part of the team,” Dyer said. “I just played video games and then they showed me around the field, the trophies, the weight room. After that we went and played some more games. It was pretty fun.”
“Right now they’d (Texas) be No. 1,” Dyer said. “I would feel like I accomplished my goals if Texas offered.”
“I would like to play both sports (football and basketball),” he said. “I’m not the type of person when one sport is over that I just stop. I like to keep moving so I want to do more with one sport.”
More from 2015 RB Jordan Stevenson of Dallas Skyline after receiving his Texas offer (HornsNation):
“I found out (Texas offered) through my coach. He called me into the office and let me know where I stood with a few schools,” Stevenson said. “He said, 'Well, you know you have an offer from Texas?' And I told him, 'No sir.' So we had a long conversation, and he called Coach [Bruce] Chambers, and we went from there. I was really excited. I’ve been thinking about it lately, and I need to keep progressing. But it’s a good offer.”
“They felt like I was a dynamic back,” Stevenson said. “[Chambers] said he sees a lot of bright things in my future. The best advice he told me was to keep grinding and stay positive, and to not just be an athlete but a scholar-athlete. Don’t be satisfied with good. Be satisfied with great.”
“Texas doesn’t just offer anybody,” Stevenson said. “Therefore it opens up a lot of doors, and a lot of eyes. At times I feel like people were sleeping on me. So I felt like I must be pretty good to get an offer from Texas. I just take it as motivation. I just need to keep doing my research and learning more about Texas.”
“To be honest, it’s going to really take some time,” he said. “I have to look at other schools and keep progressing. I have to take the offer as motivation. Whatever God has in store for me will work out. I know the offers are going to come.”
“Texas is a true contender,” said Stevenson, whose teammate, 2014 defensive end Victor Evans, also has a Texas offer. “They are high on my depth chart right now, along with Oregon, West Virginia, A&M and LSU.”
“To be honest, I’ve had an 'X' on my back,” he said. “Some people don’t understand that being a leader and being great, you are always going to have an 'X' on your back. Somebody is always going to be there to test your manhood, and if you want to be great, you will do whatever it takes to grind to the next level."
RB Racean Thomas of Oxford (Ala.) has picked up an offer from Texas, per HornsNation.
“It’s a good offer,” Thomas said. “They came all the way down from Texas to recruit me and let me know that I had an offer, so that’s a school that I’ll be looking at. I don’t really know much about Texas, but I’m willing to learn. I’ll just try to see what they run offense-wise, try to see what they do with their guys.”

He was the one with the ridiculous touchdown, where he broke something like 9 tackles and made another man miss. It's in his highlights.

2015 S Johnny Shaw of Center has committed to TCU.
A ton of WR names have been thrown around lately, but another to keep in mind is Tee Goree of Carthage. OrangeBloods mentioned that he has been in contact with both Baylor and Texas recently. I can't find any film on him but he had 66 catches for 1,261 yards and 17 TDs last season.
ATH Kevin Shorter of Newton says he definitely has an offer from Texas after meeting with the staff in Austin (HornsNation):
http://247sports.com/Player/Kevin-Shorter-21665
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/488883/#highlights/33731415
“This spring is getting crazy,” Shorter said. “I’ve got, like, 25 offers now.”
“Coach Porter broke it down for me. They have offered. For sure,” Shorter said. “I’ve been telling people, but they don’t believe me. I’ve got an offer and it feels great.”
“They’re trying to get three in this class,” he said. “Their scheme is really good for me. The backs they have can’t get out and run routes the way I can.”
“They showed me around on Thursday and showed me the weight room, locker room, all that stuff,” Shorter said. “I’ve only visited A&M, LSU and Baylor so far. Texas’ stuff is better. Everything is new. The whole thing impressed me.”
“Coach Porter said I fit good,” Shorter said. “He was mainly talking about how I can get out at receiver and run routes.”
“Probably so (it will come down to A&M and Texas),” Shorter said. “I’ll probably narrow it down during the summer. I’ll do some official visits before deciding.”
Alabama has offered WR Roderick Bernard.
Per 24/7, Applewhite is in California this week checking on the following 2015 QBs. The last guy is supposed to be a Top 10 prospect nationally:
Jake Browning, Folsom (Folsom, CA)
http://247sports.com/Player/Jake-Browning-27886
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1212916/...ights/38874381
Kevin Dillman, La Mirada (La Mirada, CA)

Ricky Town, St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA)

Also from 24/7, Texas is still doing their due diligence when it comes to WRs. By the end of the week, they will have checked in with WR Trey Quinn, WR Armanti Foreman, WR Ishmael Zamora, QB/ATH Aaron Sharp and 2015 WR Kemah Siverand.
According to Inside Texas, 2015 TE Jordan Davis of Houston Clear Lake (committed to Florida State) says he will camp at UT this summer.
Big news here. The #1 JUCO prospect in the nation, WR D'haquille Williams, has already de-committed from LSU. He says he'll visit Texas and a few others before he makes his final commitment.
Kevin Dillman is very interesting to me, since he's originally from Sweden. He is one of a few scandinavian players who are really shining in HS football, especially in the class of '15. But Dillman and Rosen were the one's that really made an impression on me. I don't understand why 24/7 labels Dillman as a "pro-style" quarterback. He's a QB, WR, S and kick-returner.
But good to see Texas moving out of state if/when they don't like what the state shows them.
I don't like Texas' chances with Quinn. It seems a new LSU connection comes out every week. They might be from Lake Charles, but that's a Bayou Bengal family. A "Shipley" that runs a sub 4.4. Wow.
I'd offer Siverand as K.D. Cannon insurance. Zamora and Sharp have similar skill sets, pick one and roll with it.
