Well that race he's in with Bowden ain't helpin' either one of 'em. Let's just kill our legacies TOGETHER.

Stewart Mandel ( CNNSI ) puts Joe Pa in the top five of worst coaches in college football.

    5. Joe Paterno, Penn State: Ouch. It hurts to even write this. But if this were a blind evaluation in which Paterno was known only as Coach A, and Coach A had gone 26-33 the past five seasons at a Big Ten school with the tradition and resources to compete for conference and national les, there's not an informed observer out there who wouldn't conclude that Coach A is a bad coach.
Stoops was #2, Smack is #10 of best coaches. Francioni and Leech get honorable mentions.

I like John L. from Michigan State making an underrated list. They are gonna have a uva rushing attack this year, with returning RB's Jehuu Caulcrick and Jason Teague...not to mention one of Ohio's top recruits Javon Ringer. If Drew Stanton stays healthy and their defense makes the same strides as their offense did late in last year's season MSU could make some noise in the Big Ten.

    10. Mack Brown, Texas: There undoubtedly will be many who say Brown should be nowhere near this list because he has yet to actually win any sort of championship, but there's no denying he has created an enviable program that has won 10 or more games each of the past four seasons.
    My boy, Mack Brown.

Maybe if we were talking top 10 recruiters. But with the talent the horns have had he should have at least 1 championship.

Well Chris Simms was a mistake, in the final analysis. Not playing OP his senior year was ....a travesty. Simms just threw too damn many INT's...

Hey but he looked great doing it. Great mechanics...just terrible throws. ( Yeah that's for all you VY haters...)
