case and point. the "overnight" Clippers and L.A. Kings fan (after they won Stanley Cup) is proud of beating a lottery team that doesn't have a head coach.
Clippers win in Memphis and nobody cares, first 2 pages of the NBA forum is all Kobe ripped achilles
+
Kobe: 5
the tired old bag Duncan: 4
tee, hee.
Damn son, Kirby's used the injury card so much that he needs to tape it back together, tbh...
Kiwi didn't think they were good enough? I wonder how Sweet Lou, Trez and Somali feel about det?
Ballmer must have watched the Utah/OKC series to make comments like det
When Kawhi first signed with the Clippers, the impression I had from articles written immediately after was that Kawhi had the idea of trading for PG coming into the meeting, but now it seems he chose PG from a list given to him by Doc & co... Either way, I think it shows Kawhi's BBIQ extends beyond just playing because PG is the perfect choice. If healthy, they'll be the best swing player combo since Jordan/Pippen. Interesting too, that a couple years ago it was an unpopular idea to say Kawhi should've been MVP over Westbrook, but now almost everyone agrees that PG has a better shot at a ring with Kawhi than he ever did with Westbrook. It's hard to view this as anything but a blow to Westbrook's legacy, when now two MVP level teammates and an advanced stats guru GM have all decided it would be better to move forward without Westbrook.
Crazy how a play or two and/or a refs whistle can change a lot.
2010. OKC ahead 94-93 vs the LA Flamers with less then a minute to go. Bryant adds to his legacy by missing about the last 4 Laker shots. However MVPau Gasol tipped in his last miss with 0.5 seconds to go to pull out the *win. Otherwise it's 3-3 and with Bryant chucking bricks it's entirely possible OKC wins Game 7 and goes to it's 1st Finals. Can you imagine?
Likewise if Kawhi L's super flukey bounce does not roll in vs Bucks Game 7, not sure who wins in OT. The rest is history.
Come on man...picking Paul George was a no-brainer. Who else was a better choice?
I imagine the list was
Jimmy Butler(inferior)
Kevin Durant(damaged goods)
Paul George(Kawhi's Pippen)
Oladipo(damaged goods)
Kyrie Irving(Diva)
Bradley Beal(1. Wiz GM won't trade him no matter what 2. Paul George is superior)
Jrue Holiday(Doesn't move the needle)
Cj McCollum(Doesn't move the needle)
Anyone looking at this list would pick Paul George.
Hey bro, worry about your own team my . AD might not even be there next season
Look at this hoe ass already thinking about leaving the Lakers
Kiwi walked away from a WCF team and a championship team for crying out loud
He sure as won't hesitate to dump the clippers when the going gets tough or when it no longer suits his financial interests. That's if his frail body doesn't fail him sooner rather than later.
Clips will finish at least 5 games better than the LOLakers, easily. That's with load management, Doc Rivers being a ty coach and LeJuice and BrowBoy staying healthy the entire season.
Are we supposed to be offended by this? Boiled down:::Kawhi is a Clipper, not a Laker.
Leonard
Maybe not you specifically, but I guarantee you Trez, etc. are privately pissed.
They won't say or Logo will trade their candy asses with the quickness
Yeah, I'm sure he hates being on a stacked le contender!
You should be worried about future Chicago Bull Anthony Davis, tbh.
Boiled down...
::: Lakers 16 time Champions :::
::: Clippers never won :::
Lakers
If Clippers got two banners
Then why the they keep putting up selfies in Staples Center?
backdoor swept by the zero-offense Grizzlies
