You listen to the guy talk and it's real easy to see where he is heading. Talk about a young guy with his head on straight.

I have no doubts he will surpass both RGIII and Luck as far as the best QB to come out of that draft class. He will be the first to play in a Championship game, if any of the three do make a SB, it will be Russell Wilson being the first. I seriously doubt RGIII can play...pocket passer. And he does appear too fragile to be running around vs NFL defenses. I doubt we see a season from him where he isn't missing games due to injury. Luck makes too many bad decisions. I also don't think he's as smart or athletic as Russell.

Yes RW plays on the better team but it's real obvious he was gonna star regardless of who he plays for, the guy simply has .."it". Now keep in mind I am a Niner fan, so obviously this isn't about anything other than how things really are. Last thing I wanna see is someone in our division playing great, oh well, bummer.

Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Percy Harvin, now add that defense and that home field advantage they have, wow!

Then there's J.T.who adds absolutely...0...to this board. Dude it's the off season, you got anything to talk about or is all you can do is act like a little punk? All you ever do is wimper around like a little . Ya don't like the topic then don't enter the thread, ya reckon?

So tell me J.T. who was that Colt defensive back who was once considered the fastest player in the NFL, let me guess...you don't know. How about that Colt player who was actually world ranked in the 100m coming out of college , I know...you don't know. Stay stupid little man.

I really do wish we had some "real" NFL fans, how cool would that be. Being able to talk about everything instead of just last.this.next season.

I'm a Niner fan as all of you know but could school all of you on your team, how sad is that?

I just don't see RGIII being the QB that RW is going to be down the road. Obviously time will tell.

Why are you even here dude? Is it because you've been banned from every other NFL board you've tried to post at for turning any discussion you have with anyone into trying to force a ing history lesson down their throat because you devoted your life to knowing the life story of every NFL player that ever lived? I root for the Colts and know a fair share of their history, but there's nowhere in the NFL Fan Rule Book that says if you want to carry a fan card for a team you have to tattoo their absolute entire history onto your brain stem. You continue to assert that anyone who hasn't spent the what I can only imagine are decades upon decades of researching players so that you can try to be a better gambler, is stupid because they don't have the fetish for knowing everything about the NFL that you do.

Football is first and foremost a game. It is entertainment, and it does that very well. That's why I follow the NFL. If parts of NFL history are compelling enough for me to give a , I went to school. I know how to do research. Thanks for trying to help me out and save me the trouble of doing that research by compiling list after mother ing list of crap no one other than you cares about. If you think the NFL is more than an entertaining game, whatever. I'm glad you found a hobby that keeps you from beating your wife and son. How come any time you compile a pointless ing list of that happened in the NFL before some people on this forum were even born, it's met with multiple pages of people telling you to off? You think that people ignoring or rejecting your offer to coach them up on irrelevant NFL history is just them being "stupid" and not "real" fans. News flash, in any niche there are fans and there are nerds. You are an NFL nerd. Most of us are not and have no interest in becoming one. I don't see how you don't get this one simple fact.

I think you have this misconception about what SpursTalk really is. Do you see people discussing the pre-shot clock era in the NBA board? No. Do you see people discussing the dead ball era on the MLB board? No. A "greatest of all time" debate might crop up every now and then, and that's when you can wax poetic about all these dead and tired old bag NFL players you have so religiously devoted your life to. But no, what you do is see someone on this board talk about a player or a team and immediately assume that is an open invitation to steer the topic into one of your lists of completely worthless off topic crap. Which I why I go off topic in all of your threads just to prove a ing point.

Every time someone throws your way, the only thing you do is say like "Do you know which player on your team did this or was good at this track event or was this fast?" That's all you have. All you are is your NFL knowledge. Good for you. We already know it's not making you any money. Hope it's getting you laid or making people like you somewhere else, because it certainly ain't happening here old man.

    J.T.

Didn't you read where it said...Russell Wilson...sure ya did so why bother with a thread that doesn't interest you? I don't. I sure in the don't enter threads to bug the OP. Why do you care what I post? What's it to you?

Do you really think I dedicated my life to a sport, hahahaha!!!!!!! dude I can do that same historical bit on a ton of interests, it's what you do when you're into something, yep, find out all you can about it. Wanna talk pre 1930 blues from Alabama, how about the history of the sci fi novel, wanna talk the roots of track and football in those HBCU schools? How about the origins of rockabilly or maybe rock and roll? Wanna talk the origins of country music? Wanna talk the history of pro rasslin'? Yes I'm an historian the real deal. Not my fault you need to keep it simple which I can also do. Wanna talk what the Colts need in the next draft?

Look dude, I don't give a damn (obviously) what you or anyone else here wants, simply don't read me because no way in am I gonna come down to you/their level. That should be very obvious by now. Stay simple guy, it looks good on you.

Here ya go little fella, you learned something today about "your" Colts that you don't really know about. Wanna talk about your first 1000 yard rusher, hahahaha......you can't! I'm not content with being a know nothing fan, you being a perfect example of that.

Leonard Lyles was as 9.5 sprinter out of Louisville. Until Bob Hayes came into the league he was considered the fastest player in the NFL.

Curtis ey was a running back at Texas A&M and a world class sprinter with a 10.10 PR (no running back has ever ran faster), he is the only running back in NFL history to be world ranked in the 100m.

I have never been banned from an NFL forum.

Now who was the first stud Oiler running back back in those old AFL (pre Campbell) days? Try LSU 's Billy Cannon the Heisman winner, but he only had a couple good seasons, the first Oiler to have a 1000 yard season was stubby (5-6ish) Charlie Tolar out of some tiny school in Louisiana. Hoyle Granger was another 1000 yard rusher later on, he was out of Ole' Miss.

See how much more interesting things are when ya actually know about them?

Who was the first great NFL back out of Texas?

Russel Wilson reminds me alot of Cam Newton and Josh Freeman. The media jumped on their s so hard after early success, and once they started failing, the media ignored them and acted like they never even existed. None of the "experts" would admit they were wrong about them. They just threw them to the side like a used up porn star's vagina. I think after next season, Russel Wilson will be right next to them.

You have any idea how many great NFL QB's took a few seasons to get it down? Way too early to get an accurate read on anyone who hasn't played at least 4 seasons.

It is pretty obvious however you know nothing about RW.
