What a difference a day makes. Memphis is playing some spectacular defense. So is San Antonio. Fun to watch. Marc Gasol is having a beast of a defensive game so far. Showing that he was a legit candidate for DPOY.
Shooting is off, but the defense by both teams has been damn solid.

It's always weird to me seeing a Center lay it in everytime. Like they're against dunking or something lol.
Neal is a bottom 3 worst defensive Spur in the Tim Duncan era imo. Only Chris Quinn was consistently worse than Neal imo. Even RJ wasn't as bad as Neal.
Maybe we should let Zbo prove he can take Splitter before we leave shooter wide open to help. Just a thought.

Yup. IMO, Bayless is arguably a top 3 player on MEM you have to shut down. He's one of the few Grizz that can shoot from deep and put up points in a hurry. You do not leave him under any cir stances at the moment.

Yeah I think so too. . .refs have only called the Grizzlies for only like one or two of their 10 fouls under the basket tonight. They're blind as in bats.

Neal has no business leaving Bayless to go and "show" a double team against Randolph. I say show because it's not even a real double team, it's a weak ass attempt at a double team...
Whats the point, if we find out he can, Zbo will be on.. its best to make sure he is not comfortable from the get go.
How I wish Splitter would dunk the ing ball. It's not that hard to do, just have him alone with the basket a make him dunk it 100 times in a row 'till it sticks to his organism. One day he will miss one these pussy open lay-ups and I will blow a vein.
