I think Wilshere is a victim of an unfair media narrative. I'm not saying he's in top form, but he hasn't been as bad as people are trying to say. I think some of it bleeds over from his performance for the Lions, tbh. The fact he's playing out of position doesn't help either. He was a major reason for that first goal and seemed pretty solid tracking back in defense... I need to re-watch the game, but I'm not worried about him.
And yeah, he'll get pushed to the bench when the tiny Spanish wizard returns. Rightfully so. A break would do him well. Arsene will have some nice options at midfield once a few more guys are healthy. Rosicky at CAM with Wilshere and Arteta behind (No reason to take Flamini out of the 1st team right now, imo) is a pretty ing amazing second team midfield. They'll be able to field very strong teams in the Cup compe ions.
Another interesting question is what to do on the wings once Cazorla gets back? Do you put him on the right instead of Gnabry? Or, do you leave Gnabry in place and replace Jack on the left?

Wilshere is just beyond horrible. What a ing horrible string of games he's had. I can't count how many times he's been on the floor crying for a foul, how many times he's dribbled into a group of three or four defenders just to turn the ball over, he's had a few bad passes and that tackle for that yellow card was horrible. Sure he's hustled back to play defense a lot in this game but we need more Rosicky and less of him.
