Arsenal
It even makes that loss to United two weeks ago more terrible. Holy , the Gunner midfield were put in the back pocket of the likes of Phil Jones, Carrick, Smalling and Evra.

Hot should've used the 100 million on a couple of world-class players
I don't see Arsenal dropping any games in the next weeks. The real test will come in December against ManCity.
Two games I will be paying close attention.
One is Tot vs ManU. It looks like a toss up but considering Tot's nonexistent offense, ManU could very well win by 3 goals. The second game that looks interesting is Chelsea vs Southampton. Let's see what Mou's club can do against the team that has received the least amount of goals.
tbh
Soldado...
12 total appearances, 6 goals 2 assists2 goals in Europa League
3 goals on penalty kicks
Giroud...
16 total appearances, 9 goals 5 assists - 2 goals and an assist in the CL, only one goal on a pnalty kick
Not to mention how good Giroud is in coming back to aid the defense on set pieces and his vastly superior hold-up play
Arsenal - 1st
Spurs - 9th

ok fair enough
But to be fair Tottenham is mismanaged
Totally agree. Does Villas-Boas keep his job if Tottenham stay mid-table (or worse)?
I'll also say this in defense of Soldado. It's only his first year. If he improves in the second half of the season going into the next campaign it may still prove to be a good move, although I stick to my assertion that $30 mil was too much to pay
yeah Giroud had a transition period last year too AVB should try a 4-4-2 to boost that offense; Tottenham is a better team when Adebayor is on the pitch (yes it's possible) Also, Defoe needs to wake the up
That whole side may need a year before they have any idea how to play together, which is why I pose the question "Will AVB get fired for a mid-table or worse finish?"
I know that there is a lot of panic in the Sp*rs fanbase right now, but if management is smart they'll look long term. Plenty of talent, but the big 'if' is whether or not they can be an actual team as opposed to a collection of individuals.
btw, I thought Defoe was being used more as a sub this year?
Adebayor can be an absolute beast but you never know which player will show up. His at ude is garbage which is probably why AVB barely plays him
Spurs management bought too many players at once with the Monkeyballer money
So yeah it will take time
And 30 millions for Lamela at this stage of his career ? crofl
AVB should learn from his experience in his EPL, and take his time before deciding to join a team
Chelsea was not a good environment for an EPL noob like him because of the Russian mafioso, and he didnt make the calls in buying al those players at once
Yup, too many 'good' players so to speak. No talismanic players - honestly they were better off getting 2 world class players (LOL @ paying 100 million for one).
Defoe going to the MLS (Toronto)
Spurs
while Henry is training with Arsenal
oooops
"Toronto FC call reports regarding Jermaine Defoe and Alberto Gilardino transfers "inaccurate""
