Hope Duncan. It would be a blow out over Kobe.

Depends what happens in the theoretical next 2 wins.

So far, Kawhi. Solid scoring, rebounding out of his mind, and most importantly put Lebron's series stats on his resume. Beast.

Of course another game like that from Green, or another circus shot from TP, could change it.

If we win, the Spurs should get the first MVT (most valuable team) trophy.

And if that goon Stern won't let us do that, give it to Ginobili cuz he deserves one from his ulative work.

Green is the real MVP of this series so far, with Leonard a close second. Duncan would probably end up winning it however, since he's Tim Duncan.

Unless TP goes crazy in one of the remaining games, Duncan will get it.

TD... second on the list Leonard Kawhi.

Only way Green wins it it's if he keeps on being the leader scorer in all clincher games

Green could run through a brick wall and people would still find fault.

From where I'm sitting Green is the clear and unanimous MVP of this series so far. He is the only spur who is bringing it on both sides of the ball, consistently every game. Leonard's defense and rebounding has been huge as well, and if he was hitting 70% of his shots like Green has he'd be the clear choice for MVP, but he simply hasn't been hitting those shots like Danny has.

Yep ..as fans we shouldn't make these kind of threads...because my opinion has so much bearing on how the Spurs play.

Duncan would win it, imo. We're jumping the gun a bit though.

Um...is it only based on performance in the finals, or is it more of a postseason MVP award? Because, if the former, I surely thought Manu should have won it in 2005.

So what would it take to convince spurs fans that Danny is the MVP.. a 50+ PER?

Parker is the favorite bc of his hype and Game 1 shot.

Duncan has outside shot if he averages a double double.

Media won't give it to Green bc they'll credit Tim and Tony for getting him open looks. Leonard probably won't get it bc media story would be Lebron choked and not Leonard shutting him down.

Danny Green has made 16 three pointers so far in this series, and the NBA record for 3 pointers made in a finals series is 22 by Ray Allen. Striking distance, to say the least, depending on how many games this series goes. I mean if the series goes to 7, he'd have to make only 2 per game to break the record
