Awesome Awesome fight.. Been looking forward to this one for a while..
- Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson - I picked Wiedman, so why the not?
- Renan Barao vs. Eddie Wineland - I hate Barao with a passion, but he's good. I'd be happy to lose this one.
- Matt Mitrione vs. Brendan Schaub - LOL, Hybrid.
- Francis Carmont vs. Constantinos Philippou - Meh.
- Pat Healy vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov - I love me some Pat, but I'm feeling Khabib.
Im a big Fan of Alex the Mauler, but Bones is my boy. He has been since he beat Andre Gusmao way back when. Just such a well rounded freak.
Other picks:
Barao
Im picking Vera in a battle of two guys I hate
Carmont
And Khabib
Jones does everything better than Alex. That said, Jones isn't used to having to deal with someone who can match him in reach. Still think he takes this, but Alex is a couple of good punches away from being in control of the fight. Barring those borderline lucky shots though, Jones dominates the entire fight.
Jones will test himself on the feet here a bit with Alex just to prove he can hang and then he will take him down and wreck Alex with his amazing GNP and subs. Jones VIA round 2 submission..

Really not interested in that HW fight between Mit and Schaub so I'll go with this fight instead. 2 young fighters with potential.
Finally ordering a UFC fight for the first time in a while. I hope bones does something sick!
Bones adding to his sponsors list

Gatorade is a big time sports sponsor. Great for Bones and for the sport.
Jon Jones v. Alexander Gustafsson - hard to bet against the champ, but I do think that Gustafsson has the best chance of pulling the upset of any of the recent Jones fights.
Renan Barao v. Eddie Wineland - I like Eddie, he's a very entertaining fighter, but I just can't see him beating Barao.
Brendan Schaub v. Matt Mitrione - I know, I know, "lol Hybrid". But Mitrione is garbage. The fact that these guys are on the main card shows how shallow the HW division is.
Constantinos Philippou v. Francis Carmont - Philippou looks better and better each time I watch him fight.
Pat Healy v. Khabib Nurmagomedov - For this reason (and the fact that he's awesome)
This had to be the slowest weigh ins ever, took like 5 min to read each fighter on the scale.
Just watched the countdown and I'm kind of a fan of Phil Davis now. I didn't care for him before because just like Jones he has that stupid black slave strength, but couldn't help but like him. He sounds like a genuine guy unlike Jones who always desperately tries to put on a cool factor.
You can take your mouth off of his anytime now
- Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson - for light-heavyweight le
IMO Alex is the guy that can beat jones. but not now, not at the moment. Jones fights really long while Alex is not. I wonder what gameplan is there for Gustafsson. I wish him the best and I hope he will win. But my prediction goes to the champion bleh.
- Renan Barao vs. Eddie Wineland - for interim bantamweight le
Wideman or Wineland ... what's the difference? Vs Brazilian huh?
yea well for real I know how fantastic barao is, but it
Francis Carmont vs.Constantinos Philippou
Nandor Guelmino vs. Daniel Omielanczuk
Joe Rogan could not read his name ..
--------------------------------------------------------------
It's gonna be great fight
- Chris Clements vs. Stephen Thompson
go Thompson go - I just hope he made some progress in mma and will land some unorthodox strikes
Well if the UFC wants to be in Europe, Poland is wanted market. The rumors are still UFC Poland 2014. We will see.
We do have the best mma organization in Europe and hype for it because of Pudzianowski fighting ...
It all changing here. 5 years ago nobody knew what mma is, but now the mma schools are opening and even my mom and aunt that works in school /not mma one ;p/ knows what is this. /more or less/.
Hmm, unfortunately our best fighter wants to fight in Poland and IMO he is top10 MW ...
Oh well
