Now is the time to believe.

We have been the better team this series and were the better team for most of today's game. 28 seconds away from winning it all.. only to blow the game stings, but we have another opportunity Thursday. Need to come out hungry and focused.

No mention of how horrible Manu was?!?! Could he have played worse than that? Lets hope when TP said Manu saved his best for "last" that this is truly last. Do or die game 7.

If Wade doesn't get hot we have a shot, but we better not leave 3pt shooters open next Game, when Miami gets hot from 3 it's over real quick. TD has to get a 20 and 10 game out of him, Parker needs to shoot above 40% and Manu needs to stop turning the ball over. I think this team is more motivated than ever and I hope the Heat are over-confident after the win and come out thinking they won already so the Spurs could shock them. Neither team has won 2 in a row this series so a win for the Spurs seems possible.

Hopefully Pop doesn't go full re and rest starters early again, Kawhi is 21 years old, he doesn't need rest. It will be the last game of the season so they need to go all out and not play bags like Bonner again, if Manu is struggling early, bench him and play Diaw more minutes, if we go up 5-10 points again we need to go for the kill instead of resting our starters to erase that lead again.

Spurs do not have a "great" chance of winning. Maybe if the Spurs starters had not played over 40 mins or were younger I would give them a chance.

If the Spurs aren't too gassed, they have an excellent chance to win game 7. A lot of things had to go Miami's way for them to steal this game. My main worry is that game 7 is the Spurs 3rd in 5 nights. They looked terrible in the same scenario last Thursday.

The only saving grace is Miami has to be just as beat up and dog ass tired.. Wade is hurt bad and Lebron is still choking his ass off..

Why did Pop sit Duncan late??
Because he was coaching yesterday like a stupid dumb . Tbh. I will never get over this.

The heat always win after a loss. You always hear that.

What you don't hear is...so do the spurs
    Cheers to that

How the do the Spurs play any better after emptying the tank?

Nice try, but the players are only human. And it's entirely reasonable for them to be doubting themselves and each other at this point. This loss is devastating.
Nice try indeed, it's quite obvious that your username suits you perfectly.

The Spurs aren't going to come out angry in game 7. They only have themselves to be mad at because they self destructed at the end. That's the most deflating way to lose, and it doesn't build confidence going forward. The real issue is that the Spurs were worn the out because all of their stars are ancient and that's the reason they choked. Young role players can't be counted on to sustain you on the road on the biggest stage, and that's what you saw tonight. In the late minutes Parker, Ginobli and Duncan will be too tired and the role players will not be there to pick it up.

I posted this early on in this series and I'll post it again. The Heat came into this series worn out from the Pacers and the Spurs were in the opposite situation. The longer the series goes on the worse it is for the Spurs all stars. The Spurs needed to win this series in 5 games. They actually had a chance to steal the series tonight and I'll be honest I thought they had it won up by 5 at the end.

They aren't going home with the trophy. The Heat are going to come out breathing fire in game 7 and compared to the Spurs they will look well rested because they have a lot of young legs, and a much deeper (see effective) bench to draw from. In this series they've played 9 different guys in rotations consistently depending on the game. I really thought the Spurs had a chance tonight but I don't see it in a game 7 in Miami.

A bunch of you kids are punk es. Jumping off the bandwagon just so you can say "see, I told you so," if the Heat win on Thursday. you. You think it's better to be able to think you were right than to continue supporting the team when you've probably been bragging about how you're "a huge Spurs fan" to all your got friends. Its okay to be upset about the loss, I was pissed, but that was yesterday and now is the time to nut the up. That's what the Spurs are doing today.

The Spurs have one thing going for them in terms of motivation. This is IT. There will likely be no next year for this group as it is constructed right now. They will put forth a big effort again. I hope Miami continues to think they can ALWAYS flip the switch. They have to execute too and they have actually had more issues in that regard than the Spurs over the 6 games.

The thing is, does your juice get messed up knowing what happened last night?

The Spurs have surprised me a hundred different ways this year. If a group can put a tough loss behind them it is this group. Keep your fingers crossed.

Heat won with Spurs giving it away. Period. If Spurs play any better in Game 7, Spurs win!
That's the problem. Other than Manu, the Spurs played great besides the subpar 3pt shooting. Refs didn't alter that game at all (negatively) for the Spurs either.

The Spurs can't play much better at Miami. Ginobili obviously can't play much worse, but the rest of the team. . .I'm just not foreseeing a favorable environment from the refs. Spurs have to shoot at least 50% from three to have a chance imo. And Miami is locking down on the 3 now. So we're gonna miraculously need another Duncan supergame or Parker to go miracle mode too.

And I don't understand when people point to press conferences as a barometer of hope for the subsequent game..

Of course they look defeated, they just lost one of the most heartbreaking games of their careers..they'll be fine tomorrow, they have another game to play..this is a veteran team that knows this may be their last chance, they won't fold..
Every single game of this series has featured a team coming back from a tough loss with new determination. There are a ton of fixable mistakes, and this team now knows for an absolute fact that they're good enough to win. Still just one win away.

Well I'm sure that Kawhi and Timmy will be ready to play. It's the others that I'm not so convinced about, especially Manu. With that said, I expect the Spurs to lay it all out, effort-wise, tomorrow. The execution probably won't be there, but our guys will compete. We'll see what happens, but I'll be there to watch.

How the do the Spurs play any better after emptying the tank?
They emptied the tank? I thought they actually played like crap except Duncan and KL. Parker, terrible, Manu, terrible, Neal, terrible. If Parker goes 6 for 50 again then so be it but that right there is a sign I take of hope.

Miami thinks they have this in the bag, which is only gonna make it that much sweeter when we break their hearts on Thursday.

spurs can mentally get past game 6, we will be fine.

How do they get mentally past it? Sleep didn't help me one bit, I'm still devastated this morning. Those guys probably didn't even fall asleep.

I'm glad some of you believe but you're delusional.

This loss hurts for us imagine for the Spurs players, Its devastating but these guys will not fold, the Heat back against the wall they were suppose to blow out the Spurs, LBJ had a triple double they shot great from 3, TP 6/23 DG 3 points Manu 8 turnovers and we were up 5 with 28 seconds left!! Game 7 of the NBA Finals I'm not giving up on this team its going to be Damn hard but they can do it.

When you consider that TP was 6 of 23, Manu had 8 turnovers with many of them coming late, and DG4 was 1 of 5 it quite amazing that the Spurs were up 5 with 28 seconds to go tbh.

We will see if they have anything left in the tank come Thursday.
