Never underestimate emotion strain. hits harder than any physical injuries. Do these players really want to play another 48 minutes of uncertainty after being ONE FREE THROW AWAY FROM WINNING IT ALL?
I think yeah, especially if you're a compe or like Timmy! He wants to play again badly and we are fortunate to get one more opportunity for redemption. My heart says they can do this but realistically you're also right about the emotional and physical toll game 6 took on the players and us fans. It will be difficult, but BELIEVE!!

I agree about Timmy. He's a champ. But we're gonna need way more than just him to show up if the Spurs have any chance of winning tomorrow.

Also, let's hope their bodies are able to go, too.

Don't see it. Just don't see how they can bounce back. They're mentally tough, but when the trophy is literally court side, that shatters you.

the spurs actually played pretty poorly and if not for the play of TD in the 1st half they would have been down double digits by halftime. they turned the ball over, missed free throws, were terrible from 3 point range and gave up way to many 2nd chance points. my concern is what TP has left in the tank and the fragile state of manu's psyche.

The Spurs folded after their first 2 losses of the series so of course they'll fold after the 3rd. Also they've never won in Miami.

A bunch of you kids are punk es. Jumping off the bandwagon just so you can say "see, I told you so," if the Heat win on Thursday. you. You think it's better to be able to think you were right than to continue supporting the team when you've probably been bragging about how you're "a huge Spurs fan" to all your got friends. Its okay to be upset about the loss, I was pissed, but that was yesterday and now is the time to nut the up. That's what the Spurs are doing today.

Were the Spurs too emotionally drained after losing game 6 to the Pistons? A Pistons team with an absurdly superior defense, I might add.

The Heat simply can't guard the Spurs. Tony had a poor showing, Green wasn't able to contribute much and Manu...yeah. But, it still came down to some late game heroics from Miami to barely pull out the win. The Spurs have been here before (g7 of the finals), they know what it takes to win and they'll do it.

There are really good points on this thread, so let me just add this: Last year against OKC our Spurs looked lost, deflated, scared. I think after game 4 they realized OKC was a much better team right now and they mentally checked out. I get the vibe that the spurs KNOW they are a better team than Miami and are pissed off they gave a game away. Like someone said earlier, I look for the Spurs to come out mad and aggressive.

Did anybody see the game stats? We lost by 3 and Tony was 6-21 and Manu had 8 turnovers. I'm pretty sure Danny Green only synced one or two threes as well. We can still win Game 7.

WTF you talking about, Willis? They won game 1 in Miami, and it's been nothing but counterstrike after counterstrike ever since?

    Parker isn't 100%
Duncan appeares to have tweaked his knee when Bosh fell on it late in the game

Simulator crew coaching < Pat Riley's puppets

    Oh, and "It's Manu Ginobli."
This is what worries me. Emotional part is one thing (which I think they can overcome). Can't overcome the physical part though. We won't know until game 7 though.

They said lebron had trouble getting up from the podium cause he was so spent. Also you see how this team comes back when they are angry and Timmy looked pissed. You see what they've done to the grizz since 2011. They're gonna get it done.

The play of TD was generally by pick your poison. Miami allowed the Spurs to get him the ball while sticking with Green. If they go back to fronting him or keeping him from touching the ball, Green's open looks should return. Doesn't mean he'll make them though.

    To guard the 3 pointer.
It's too bad there weren't any past mistakes he could draw from, no situations where a coach sat his center and best player against the heat at the end of the game because he was afraid of outside shooting.

(watch this one somehow fly over Legacy's head too)
