After seeing Tim and Tony shoot and score jumpers for the whole season, what happened to it in this final series?

Tired legs, age, pressure, not confident in their jump shot, banged up, or TP guarded by a bigger defender as usual, I really don't know. The Spurs big 3 should not be relying on jump shots IMHO. They are playing against a bunch of midgets so they should rely more on attacking the rim, penetrating, and getting open shots for our role players. This series has demonstrated that the team that dominates the paint usually wins the game, whether it be rebounds, blocks, or points in the paint.

So then he should be able to use his speed to get by them?

Have you noticed the way they're trapping him -- they're more or less forcing the Spurs to get the ball out of his hands and make someone else score. Tony can still go to work anyway, but that's the stuff 6-23 nights are made of.

Also, whatever happened to Tony's floater? The few times he's used it, it came up really short

They are being aggressively trapped and doubleteamed quite often. Oddly enough, they double Timmy's outside shot much more aggressively than his post attempts.

Because Tim knows his shot is off right now. He has a much better shot of finding his rhythm by posting up. He's being aggressive and adjusting his game to play some amazing ball.
