This was my first thought. Alphabet Soup is very young. They could just say you to his wishes for coming over and leave him there. That or trade his rights eventually in another package.
Wouldn't shock me to see them make the Cleveland trade anyway and just get two seconds for free.

Seriously Karasev is one of the safest pick and has a lot of Manu in him, he'd be really worth trading up for imo.
