Olynyk has certainly looked damn good so far in summer league. It'll be interesting to see how that translates into actual NBA play. I honestly think he's got a good chance to make an impact this (next) season.
Sign him up for the Spurs.
lol
I'm really bummed that we missed our chance to draft the French Hasheem Thabeet.![]()
Paul Garcia PS @PaulGarciaPS
#Spurs release SL roster: Nando De Colo, Cory Joseph, Aron Baynes, Deshaun Thomas, Marcus Denmon, Ryan Richards on roster.

Ime Udoka will coach the #Spurs’ Summer League squad. Great opportunity for Nando, Cory, Baynes to work on P&R action like Kawhi last year
Also Dexter Pittman and Alexis Wangmene.
I thought Cory already proved that he's above summer league, but oh well.
Well Reggie Jackson doesn't need to prove anything to OKC but he is still playing.

Hey, the SL team has 4 Forwards on the roster.. sounds like a pretty good number.
None of the players that aren't related to Spurs strikes me as high quality like Gary Neal had few years ago. Aside of the 3 Spurs player, it's a quite low quality SL team.
^hollis/scott will impress........................................... ..........
Good to see Joseph getting reps, needs to be running the point a lot more this season, more minutes. I'm really pulling for Deshaun Thomas to show something that will keep him around.
Too bad Hanga isn't in this years SL
Probably see a starting line up of: CJ, Nando, DeShaun Thomas, Richards, and Baynes.
That lineup sounds about right. Those five and Denmon are probably the only players the team cares about.
I don't think any of the guys that aren't already signed make the team. There is an outside shot for one of the forwards to make it but it would take an extraordinary effort.
lol no high quality players like Gary Neal. Like anyone knew Neal would make it out of SL![]()
It looks like a fine SL team to me
We never know if we can find a Neal in the SL team until we actually see them playing. Nobody knew Neal would be that good before the SL. Back then, I remember that we were discussing about who should stay among Jerrels, Gee and Temple and Neal wasn't even in the conversation.
I hope to see someone surprising this year. Hopefully a BIG.
It doesn't matter if a big surprises. The Spurs have six bigs currently under contract. They aren't taking another one.
Neal was highlighted as a player that could be a surprise as soon as Spurs' SL roster was released. You can check the 2010 SL roster thread, if you don't believe me: http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158085 .
In this year's roster, I don't see a potential Neal player that could emerge as a surprise.
Looking forward to watching Thomas,Richards, and Denmon play.
