Yeah, Dwight is better offensively but again, with his baggage, its no bueno. I honestly don't like Blatche, he was decent last season for a reason. Contract year. But DJ, tbqh, the Rockets are doing practically the same thing the Lakers are doing for Howard.
Rockets invited 2 generations worth of legends to talk to him (Olajuwon, Drexler, Yao on Skype and Mutombo) including the GM, Owner, Harden, Parsons and who knows who else.
The Rockets (assuming its true) is stooping down to L.A.'s level now by also coming up with their own TV show package
I like the Rockets organization so I wish them well, but if you guys missed out on him, I wouldn't consider it a huge loss tbh.
If a player needs this much convincing, then I would rather not have him tbh. CP3, Lebron and even Melo didn't need much pitch. They all know what they want and at the end of the day signed with the team that they know will give them a fair chance of winning.

lakers have every reason to solicit his signature on a new contract. He's a drama queen that's a perfect fit for the city's lifestyle, and they still wanna make another push in Kobe's era next season so they can't afford to lose their best player for nothing. but I don't the reason why Dallas should go all out for him, with the cap space we can sign other players who're younger and have better potential (like Tyreke Evans). I mean seriously, even if we got DH this summer somehow, would it get us right back in the le contention next season? I'd rather gather some wonderkids and start building for the future tbh

Agreed Rogue Lakers need to show patience just liek Mavs. They were the last two teams to ring before Lebron who is a ridiculous talent. Not winning for a few years during James reign is no shame. He wont reign forver get young stars and bide time improving a little bit every year.
