So does that pretty much just give us the MLE to go after guys?
So how much cap space do the Spurs have?
ugh too much for Manu. way too much. should have been $5M or less.
well, that's a bummer if true.
7 million a year? Umm yeah... I'll take it. Of course, I was hoping for less. But at least it's not in 8-10 range.
of course people are going to anyway.
Chopped his salary in half, just like Tim... as expected, tbh...
awww. where does that leave us.
if true
wonder how CoM wouldthat
What's that leave us with?
So what do we have to offer now as far as cap space goes?
Nothing. It`s all gone
two effing much...this is a lifetime achievement contract because his worth today is ray allen money, 3-4mil per...
as much as i love manu and want him back, that's way too much for him, he would never get 7 per year on the open market..
Manu Ginobili gets two-year, $14 million deal from Spurs

I was hoping for $5m considering the little wiggle room, but I can't be mad at that number... 8-10 it's a different story.
Great deal! Took a 50% pay cut. Impressive.
1 of 3 Spurs to show up for game 7 and these people want to give him Alonzo Gee type market contract.

$7M per year is a little higher than what I expected but it's still reasonable.
By my quick calculations, the Spurs could still have somewhere in the $6-6.8 million range in cap space if they amnesty Bonner and let Neal walk. That said, that amount is not much more than the $5.2 million MLE they could use otherwise, so they might not think it's worth it.
