And yeah, I don't deny that I would profile based off the appearance/race of someone coming down my neighborhood. However, I'd lock my doors, call the police, and shut all the windows after I was done describing the guy. I don't know anyone who sees a 6'2" black guy on their street they think is committing a crime and reacts by leaving the safety of their house/car to follow him.
Possibly. That's for someone who made it through the police academy to decide, not someone who failed out of it. If I saw a black guy I thought was casing houses, I'd be worried he was armed and the last thing I'd do was go confront the guy.
