Cain Velasquez v. Junior Dos Santos - I don't have a rooting interest in this fight, so I'll be able to just enjoy the fireworks.
Daniel Cormier v. Roy Nelson - As much as I love Big Country, the only way he wins is if he lands one of KO punches. DC is just the better all around fighter and will win by UD.
Gilbert Melendez v. Diego Sanchez - Melendez will brutalize Sanchez.
Gabriel Gonzaga v. Shawn Jordan - Gonzaga's chin is made of glass, so hopefully Jordan can put him down early.
John Dodson v. Darrell Montague - Montague is no slouch, but Dodson is #1 contender kind of good.
Dan with 224lbs on a scale. Just like he said he will be.
I wonder if JDS wins this, is Cormier still gonna go to 205?
If not and he will defeat JDS then if Cain will try to go down to 205?
hmm
Junior needs to be extremely aggressive and let it all go in my opinion in the first 10 minutes of this fight if he is going to win. He can only win this fight by another knock out.
MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET)
- Cain Velasquez vs. Junior Dos Santos - for heavyweight le
- Daniel Cormier vs. Roy Nelson
- Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez
- Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shawn Jordan
- John Dodson vs. Darrell Montague
The legacy of both men is on the line tonight.. For Cain and JDS this is a career definer..
Uh, really? Whoever loses has another 3-5 years left in their prime. I doubt the loser of this fight will never fight for the le again.
They may never fight each other again as 4th fights are rare.. Most memorable battles end with this 3rd fight.. Junior would have to go on a big run to get another shot as long as Cain has that belt..

Diego is just a lunatic a flat out lunatic it's hard not to love the guy.
Diego always gets screwed over by these ty 3 round fights, he needs 5 rounds EVERY FIGHT
Im surprised that at 31 years of age Diego is not a shot fighter given his style and just how reckless he is in every single fight. I have never seen him in a fight where he did not take a lot of damage.
What a fight. Velasquez v Dos Santos IV will be the as well.
Good fight, If JDS really wants the belt back he should learn Muay Thai, not a single reverse...
