LOL!!
In the 410/151 intersection...they are building a Super Target, I guess to compete with that new Wal-Mart. In fact that whole area is exploding with businesses.
I figured it would go faster than that...when they first that Chili's and Lowes, I thought they would bring the house, but they didn't. Only slowly did they add another thing...Johnny Carinos and Crocker Barrel.
But lately everything has been coming out...3 new ones I've seen are Office Depot, Ross, and the Super Target. There's still more buildings around that haven't been bought yet.
LOL!!
Get thee a Swiffer Vac asap.
10 thumbs up!
The Writer just got Served
I DID IT!
I got out of Target only spending $27!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good for you. Now go in and spend only $2.70, or nothing at all.
It's a multiple step program.
that. I still need to go to HEB for the power shopping!
So what did you buy for $27 bucks?
some stuff from their dollar spot. That part of the store rules! Peaches, milk, lettuce, grapes, cereal, coke zero, ziplock baggies.
Oh and all their low carb crap is in clearance now that Atkins is going belly up!
.
I got out of Target yesterday with a $27.26 tab!
You must have bought the same stuff I did!
And on that note, I'm about to take the boys clothes shopping. More $$$$ and I've already spent half my yearly salary at my second home, HEB, yesterday.
I've left without spending any.
Same here. I'm not that crazy about Target. And I don't think the stuff there is THAT much cheaper than in regular places.
I was desperate for eyedrops ... I ran to the eyecare aisle and opened the box right there.
That, and my kids each a little Happy-First-Day-of-School-Mommy-Just-Got-A-Huge-Raise-Because-Daycare-Went-Down-Today-Too Treat.
I won't tell of the damage I did today at Party City getting a few things for my daughter's birthday tomorrow, though......
?
Target is a regular place.
Good job.
Just buy like a CD.
I don't consider Target a discount place. It's just a store I heart so much.
OMG...First stop--Old Navy. The little one immediately says he doesn't like anything. I read him the riot act and he grabs one of every t-shirt out, size be damned. Read him the riot act again.. Still acts up and gets playing with his friend next door taken away.
Next stop--Kohl's. No problems.
Last stop--Target. The oldest punched the youngest in the stomach because 'he was bugging me' and knocks the wind out of him. Lecture oldest for the 10 millionth time that he has no right to punch his brother, etc. He gets playing outside with friends taken away also and the computer. Both become very quiet and decide to behave. Too bad we are on our way home.
Remind youngest one that if he even thinks of asking if he can play outside, he will be grounded another day.
I am drinking my dinner...
you're such a mom
what could you possibly need at target after spending 50+ dollars there constantly? :p
There's always stuff you didn't see the last time....or run out of since your last visit....
if i had 50+ dollars to spend every time i went to target i'd only buy the occasional video game
and some beef jerky
applicators, liners...
you cant get ribbons for your Tahoe at most targets
I do usually try to avoid it, though....because I end up buying a bunch of stuff I don't need. Which is S y & I's joke about trying to get out of there for less than $50....there's always that horrible cringe-moment right between the moment she/he scans the last item and hits the total key.
I do the same damn thing at Walmart, although at least there I'm usually buying groceries or something...
Just got back from Target and spent 0
Now lets go see what kind of damage I can do at Ingram Park Mall.
Later yall
you know that could be a east coast thing..... my family thats still in Conn, SoCarl and Fla all think that Target ain't all that and that it's sopposed to be some super cheap place ala Wal-Mart.
whereas down here we like to think of Target as Walmarts rich cousin... or where you go when your inbetween walmart and Kohls....... it;s nice. not super nice.. but nicer than Wallyworld.
