Christmas day at home vs Rockets
Get a west coast road trip early in the season in November.
15 home games after the RRT
Heavier home schedule to start the year, vs after mid-year.
Sweet. Gonna get dem tickets.
Another game I'll probably go to.
How many b2bs did we have last year?
RRT doesn't look too bad. Could easily go 7-2
Schedule seems pretty balanced all the way throughout.
Both Miami games come after a day off. One will be on ABC, the other will be on TNT.
Next edition of Restgate:
Dec 10 @Toronto
Dec 11 @Milwaukee
Dec 13 v. Minnesota
Dec 14 @ Utah
Also interesting that the Dec 4th game in Mexico City will count as a home game for Minnesota.
I count 19:
1. 11/1-11/2 at LAL, at PRT
2. 11/5-11/6 at DEN, v. PNX
3. 11/10-11/11 at NY, at PHI
4. 11/22-11/23 at MEM, v. CLE
5. 11/29-11/30 at ORL, v. HOU
6. 12/10-12/11 at TOR, at MIL
7. 12/13-12/14 MIN, at UTH
8. 12/18-12/19 at PNX, at GST
9. 12/25-12/26 HOU, at DAL
10. 1/7-1/8 at MEM, DAL
11. 1/12-1/13 MIN, at NO
12. 1/28-1/29 at HOU, CHI
13. 2/5-2/6 at WAS, at BRK
14. 2/18-2/19 at LAC, at PRT
15. 3/11-3/12 at CHI, PRT
16. 3/21-3/22 at SAC, at GST
17. 3/28-3/29 at DEN, NO
18. 4/2-4/3 GST, at OKC
19. 4/10-4/11 at DAL, PNX
Looks like I get to see the Spurs play Portland on 11/2.
RRT doesn't look that difficult...
Only one set of 4 games in 5 nights.
We got a primetime slot on Christmas Day against the Rockets? AWESOME.
By my count, we will have at least 7 games on TNT this year (Thursday games), with the first one not until Dec 19 at the Warriors.
Spurs play everyone in the West 4 times except:
Clippers (1 home, 2 away)
Kings (2 home, 1 away)
Nuggets (1 home, 2 away)
Timberwolves (2 home, 1 away)
As we should, we went to the freaking Finals for crying out loud.
When's the last time the Spurs got a home game on Christmas?
Only 7 games in April and the only one outside of Texas is at OKC. Last game of the season at home on a Wednesday. The schedule, at least, will be favorable heading into the playoffs.
Every team is rumored to be wearing sleeved jerseys on Christmas. This will be interesting.
3 Laker games in the final month is nice, automatic wins.
Damn, the first week is a doozie.
There's only 1 set of 4-in-5, but there's:
a 7 games in 10 nights stretch from November 5 through November 15 (@DEN, v. PNX, OFF, v.GST, OFF, @NY, @PHI, OFF, v.WAS, OFF, @UTH); and
a 11 games in 16 nights stretch from December 10 through December 26 (@TOR, @MIL, OFF, v.MIN, @UTH, OFF, @LAC, OFF, @PNX, @GST, OFF, v.OKC, OFF, v.TOR, OFF, v.HOU, @DAL)
Then again, there's a whole lot of good rest stretches in parts of this schedule. The Spurs get 2 full days off on 11 different occasions, get 3 full days off on 2 different occasions, and get 3+ days off on 3 different occasions (including the all-star break).
