Agree, that's great to have an April month that light.
Never.

This is a nice breakdown: http://www.nba.com/spurs/news/130806...eason_schedule

Rodeo Road Trip is a joke this season.
Probably 2 of these teams will be above .500 when the RRT comes around
Pels
Wiz
Nets
Bobcats
Pistons
Celtics
Clips
Blazers
Suns
What a sweet looking schedule.
Already circled 5 games that I'll be attending.
Playing the Knicks on the 10th of November at 11:00 AM? NBC doesn't start their NBA coverage until Christmas. I wonder what the occasion is?
i'm not gonna lie, i was thinking the league and media were gonna snub us out of christmas as usual. But I'm exited it's at home and against the rockets. definitely gotta buy some tickets for this game
home and away with SA
That April schedule is a . GS, OKC, Memphis and Houston will be tough. The Lakers and Mavs could be in play for the 8th seed. If the Spurs don't build up a comfortable lead in the seeding, it's going to be tough to rest players down the stretch.
7 games in 16 days. Last game at home with three days off before the playoffs start. No significant travel. That's about as favorable as a home stretch can get.
The Knicks tend to play some early Sunday home games, but the start time on 11/10 is because the NY Rangers have a home game at MSG that night.
good point, this is what i was going to say. the handful of games in april look like a cluster of good teams and could make for a crazy, down to the wire scramble of the seeding.
but otherwise a very nice schedule, accommodating for the most part. RRT looks like a breeze and the miami games aren't on B2Bs this time around.........
Cool we play Booklyn on NYE again.
I hope it isn't as one-sided as last season
Count the DNP's........tbh
That RRT won't be as easy as ya'll make it sound. The Pelicans and Blazers always play the Spurs tough (and will be in playoff contention this year imo) and the Spurs lost to the Pistons on last year's trip too. I could see the Spurs only going 5-4 or, god forbid, 4-5.
Other than that, pretty good schedule imo. Could see the Spurs getting the top seed again if everyone stays relatively healthy.
better schedule than last years. Last years schedule it seemed like Stern told the schedule creators to the spurs up with back to backs and stretches of facing serious teams in a period.
we need the #1 seed throughout this year, if we get it we will get our championship.
Yup! Especially because the Heat won't have another 27 game winning streak.
"WindhorstESPN Brian Windhorst
Spurs at Heat on Jan. 26. Spurs have day before off & no back-to-backs for 2 weeks prior. Should be nice and rested this time."
At least the rest gate made sure the NBA would not us again on the schedule. 250 000$ well spent
Quite happy with the schedule.
Good schedule other than starting the season with a B2B.
