I read the negative reviews of MoS before I went to watch it, but I really loved it especially after being distraught after Iron Man 3.
Thats what people were saying about Avengers: AoU which was average at best. At least it was better than Iron Man 3 which was a travesty.

Just got back from watching it. I lowered my expectation coming so I'm not as disappointed. Other than finally seeing Batman,WW and Supes in the big screen along with Snyder's strong visual approach the movie is just convoluted and the pacing is all over the place.
Affleck shined though to be quite honest, easily the best Batman/Bruce Wayne to date, yes even better than Bale tbh who had the advantage of working with a quality director in Nolan. Superman's character didn't develop much since MOS, same with Louis Lane. WW/Gadot was surprisingly good as well. 7/10 for me but Warner Bros really need to scrap Snyder from any of their future plans. His style isn't just for big franchises like this.
It was okay. Affleck made an okay Bruce Wayne, and a great batman. They could have have cut an hour off the exposition, made it tighter, and injected some self awareness and/or levity, and it would have been a much better movie. It also suffered from Lord of the Rings syndrome, and never ing ended.
It's all subjective at the end. There are some good, entertaining movies that scored pretty low on RT. Bad Boys II got 23%, Space Jam 35%, Home Alone 52% etc on the other end you have awful freaking movies with baffling scories... Indiana Jones Crystal Skull 72% Babe 97% Haywire 80%
This kind of says it all....
When I went Monday it was mostly hardcore DC fans and press so i'm curious,
(Spoilers)
Did the crowd cheer during the Flash vision scene or were most people confused?
Was there any crowd reaction to the viewing of the other meta humans on the computer?
Movie was awful. The first hour pace was atrocious. I hated to believe it but 80% of the movie was shown in the trailers. They crammed way too much which left little character development. I really didn't care if anyone died half way through the movie. A lot of little details (spoilers) made no sense and the fact that there was only one actual B v S fight was a travesty. Just save your money and wait for Civil War.
There are only 17 reviews on RT for sharknado.
There are 200+ for Supes
I think RT was also recently bought by Fandango
Didn't love it. Need to see again though. So much going on and it felt rushed & crammed. Almost how dreams seem cool but when you think back you realize a bunch of stuff was skipped.
I don't think Ben was bad, but definitely don't put him over Bale. There wasn't even any Bruce development IMO and you really didn't get enough to make that call. He did fine but I don't think he was great. Didn't feel anyone was great, but everyone was fine.
I think I view this more in the mold of Fast & Furious than a great epic. I like F&F because I know what it is and I think BvS is that.
they spent three years developing this movie, including an eight month delay, and this is the best Snyder can doplain and simple, snyder is just not a good storyteller. he should work as a consultant or a director of photography where he's pretty much untouchable IMO.
5/10. man, thing is the movie has all the elements to be an epic film but at the end, the lack of emotional ties between characters and the horrible pacing really killed it.
People's opinions will vary of course. Guardians of the galaxy was overrated, yet received immaculate praise in the media.
just saw it. Batman is probably the only think that I really liked in this movie. Alfred and music were also pretty good. Superman is just boring, Wonder Women is meh, Lex Jr is a Joker wanna be and Doomsday is . The fight between Batman and those bad guys from the trailer is the best scene in the movie for me. I'd give it a 5.8/10
yeah, Affleck was surprisingly good. I come in with little expectations of him (never was a fan of his acting style) I cant wait for his solo movie which he's supposed to direct as well, it's going to be good.
...damn Ben, you need a hug man?
he's like, damn it. I cant believe I went from two critically acclaimed, Oscar winning to this
Feel bad for him. I think they all wanted to make a really good movie and it sucks when there is such backlash.
this gotg movie didnt have anyone worth mentioning yet it made money,
now im just waiting if they going to make HULK war of t he worlds movie, where hulk is sent to space in excile...that be a good movie watching him smash against other monsters out there in the galatica universe...
Yeah the critics were right. That was garbage. God have they ruined superman. Affleck was the perfect Batman though. AndEisenturd. Cant believe Cranston did not get the role of Lex.
Oh and people actually had the nerve to clap for that after it was over.
When they went with that whiny voiced midget got with the troglodyte face, I knew that was one facet of the movie I was going to despise. Whoever was the casting director for this movie needs to suck start a shotgun.
