Valanciunas definitely has some big hands.
Lithuania beats Belgium 86-67. Belgium is now without chance to advance.
Valanciunas definitely has some big hands.
he was with the rockets in camp last year, i remember the fans really liked him, but he still wasn't signed, imho because of his jumper and him not being an offensive statpadder..
Ukraine beat Serbia and complicated things in group E
Tony doing something at Latvian bench before tonight's game. What the is he doing?
Getting some info on Davis Bertans....on serious note not sure.
It looks to me like he has somethink like a paper in his hand and is writing something. Like he'd come to get their starting 5 or something. But that doesn't really happen so idk what was his intention here.
Probably signing autographs. He's known internationally.
Anyway, here's hoping that France gets the W tonight.
If they can keep Latvia from getting really hot from downtown, they will win.

You were right. Our commentator just said that Latvian coach asked Tony for an autograph before the game.
Looks like Batum heard all the criticism, he's been balling today. 9 pts 5 reb 3 as 1 stl after 1st quarter.
I thought everyone said he was recovering from an injury. Am I wrong about this?

Belinelli's Seen Growth, Now Wants Wins
By Dimitris Kontos
Italy suffered their first defeat at EuroBasket 2013 on Thursday night, 84-77 to hosts Slovenia, but maintain intact their chances in the race for a quarter-final spot from Second Round Group F.
The Azzurri will punch their ticket to the last eight of the tournament if they win their game against Croatia on Saturday.
A big part of their hopes rest upon Marco Belinelli, and anyone who converses with the star guard will be assured that he is up to the challenge.
"I think it's important to play for the national team, for our country, to play the best we can," Belinelli told fibaeurope.com.
"I really care about this team, it is important for me as a player to grow, and also for the growth of basketball and young players in Italy.
"Two years ago we didn't play a good EuroBasket but right now we have the possibility to play well, we believe we are a good team and we are not scared of anyone."
Belinelli is averaging 14.8 points, four rebounds and 2.8 assists-per-game for Italy so far in the tournament.
"In this team I try to help everybody, I try to be the leader on this team," he admitted.
"I try to help my teammates to stay together on the court and off the court, I think it's part of my motivation right now.
"I mean I am 27 now, I think you need to grow every day as a player but at the same time it's time to win and improve as a group."

Full stats, if anyone is interested.
Latvians are some crazy shooters.
We will see the results of tomorrow group F games but it's likely France won't even know whether they should try to win or lose their last game Serbia.
