Croatia is 70% dependable on Bogdanovic. He made some big shots not only in this game, but also before. If the opposing team can stop him, Croatia is very limited. They will probably get past Ukraine but I don't see them winning against Spain/Lithuania.
Sorry man, but we're like 80% dependable from Goran. When he's on the bench you can see how the team sucks. Now in this big game I don't really count on others like Lorber or Joksimovic to do something special, but Goran needs to play his best game.

Yes, if Spain wins, they play Lithuania in quarterfinals; Winner plays winner of Croatia/Ukraine. Lithuania or Spain have much better chance to knock out Croatia than Italy/Serbia.

    Fixed that for you

Yes, Goran is our best player, but we've seen other players step up - Lorbek, younger Dragic, Begic with his defense... Who stepped up for Croatia? Ukic with his fadeaway airball for the win? Tomic who sometimes plays like a pussy and falls down every time he gets blocked? I don't know, man....

    LOL sorry.

I like how Zoran, Begič and Lorbek played. Even Josksimovis and Murič play pretty good. But in a game against France I expect more from our main guys like Goran and Nachbar, who really needs to step up and not just shoot stupid threes. If Goran can play like against the Greece then that would be amazing. I'm not really worried about our game, cause I know they will fight all game, but I am worried about France turning into an all-star team against us.

Btw, isn't Dragic Spurs-killer That could turn into being France-killer, you know, Tony, Diaw and Nando, it's almost Spurs.

Bellinelli just clanked his fifth three pointer this quarter (4 were open spot ups), just not his day. Meanwhile Marc is dominating for Spain.

In today's newspaper, Boris on why he has been more aggressive this summer with FNT:

"As athletes, winning is what makes us tick. The NBA finals, even 3 month after it, is still fresh in my mind. To be so close of a le and not being able to get it, it's hard to live. It creates a thirst of les. I still had it before but... We will do everything to not let it slide this time.

    Great news!!!

    **

From the other Diaw thread, looks like we were right on point:

Being that close to the le for the first time in his career hopefully gave him the realization that being just a bit more aggressive here and there can help in close games/series.
Boris has really had a different mindset with FNT this summer: he isn't playing at all the passive basketball he usually plays. I'm not sure exactly why he has changed his at ude and how long the new Diaw will last, but it's somewhat likely that the awfully painful loss against Heat has something to do with it.

Going to be a tough match for Italy, they have no size, Lithuania is going to kill them on the boards.
