I asked the journalist who wrote the article for Slovenian media.. He said ESPN clearly hasn't understood Parker's sarcasm. He even offered me to come watch the video myself, so I kinda believe him he understood him right. Or should I go watch the video? Lol.
I recall Tony saying something similar soon after the finals...that even on his death bed his last thought will be about Game 6. I think he is just trying to be humorous by using an extreme example to say how much the loss hurt. "I am so hungry I can eat a horse." That kind of thing. Of course I'm not hungry enough to eat a horse and of course Tony won't be thinking about Game 6 on his death bed. But I am damn hungry and that loss hurt a lot.

I watched a video of Parker saying the exact same thing (when I will be 90, dying on my bed...) in french earlier this summer. While he said it as a joke,it definitively isn't a sarcasm. Just before it, he said that it was the biggest loss of his career and that he will never get over it.

Interview with RC was just on our tv...
He said he is here in Slovenia to see Spurs players and also other players, including 2 the Spurs have rights of (remind me who the 2nd player is, Sanikidze and ?), and also mentioned that he is very happy to see how Belinelli is playing at this tournament. He was also asked about Slovenian NT and Goran Dragic and Buford joked that Spurs FO wasn't smart enough when they traded him after draft. In the end there was a question about the upcoming season and he said that the Spurs need to be healthy and that you never know what happens. He didn't really comment on the finals, although it was included in a question.
