This just a reminder for the few race fans here that you can get Sunday only tickets
now on sale for the F1 one race this year. Parking is still free but you still have to
take a bus from the parking area (a 30 min ride) to the track......

The F1 movie "rush" will be out on Sept 27......."a spectacular big-screen re-creation
of the merciless 1970s rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauda". It's by Ron Howard
so you know it's not a hack movie......It centers on the year Niki crashed out leading
the world championship and almost burned to death.......

Last year we met people from all over the world at the race. The group running
the event are just a great group......no assholes. We had a great time.. wear
comfortable clothes and shoes...lot of walking....if you get general admission bring a folding chair.
USGP weekend got even better---Sting will have a live concert at ACL live as
part of the Austin Fan Fest on Nov.16.

American Le Mans Series and World Endurance Championships this weekend at
the Circuit of the Americas. Two days of sports car racing with practice on Friday.
On site parking with a three day general admission of $79. This is very cheap to
watch some of the best cars in the world. Just try it one time and you will get hooked.

International music sensation Pitbull to perform post-race concert at 2013 F1 USGP
Circuit of The Americas™ is pleased to announce multiple post-race activities free to fans attending the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX, with a post-race concert from globally recognized music sensation Pitbull at the Austin360 Amphitheater on Sunday, Nov. 17. Fans will also have the opportunity to take part in the post-race track invasion, providing track access from Turns 1 to Turn 15.
Today there was a bad crash on the last lap of a Indy Car race around Houston's
Reliant Stadium . No one was serious injury but debris went into the
stands an 14 fans were hit by debris and safety fencing.
Dario Franchitti has been admitted to the Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center here in
Houston for multiple injuries including a concussion, a spinal fracture that will not require surgery,
and a fractured right ankle. He will be kept overnight for observation.

Seb Vettel is just dominating s he's supposed to dominate.
Glad that Ferrari's forging a Kimi and Fernando partnership. Massa is ing terrible. It's was Schumi's decision to let him linger. even got the nod over Kimi Raikkonen.
^Vettle has had the best car for the last couple of years. Kimi and Alonso with big red next year
will take the fight to him with the new engines next year. Shumacher wanted to be a clear team #1.
Alonso will probably only stay at Ferrari one more year because he want's to be a clear team #1
and he was that with Massa also. Look to see Alonso with McLaren in 2015 season. Massa is talking to
drive with Williams next year.
NASCAR will be in Ft.Worth this weekend.....Truck race on Friday, Nationwide race on Sat. and
the Sprint cup race on Sunday......If you have never Texas Motor Speedway, it's one of
the best stock car tracks in the nation. Easy parking (free)and and camping. Lots to
eat and drink and very good site lines to see the race.....you have to go to one!

The F1 teams are at a race in Persian Gulf Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi this weekend.
1st practice will be on NBC sports Channel at 8am central time Fri morning .
