BTW, I don't claim to have any answers really. I'm probably not as smart as I think I am. That being said, there's a case to be made to dive underneath the symptoms and examine the roots. I believe that a big player in the foundation is structural/ins utional racism. Racism may not be the proper descriptor, but it's the only one I can come up with.
