Honestly Brooks was good before he tore his rotator cuff late in the 2002 season. The Saints were 9-4 before that but played him in the final 3 games and lost all three missing the playoffs. Delhomme was the backup and probably would have won two of those games, but Haslett never played him and Delhomme signed with Carolina in the offseason.

Poor Brooks lost the velocity on his passes and was never the same since he didn't anticipate fast enough.

How good can this Chargers team be? I like watching them play. I don't think they're gonna land a top pick.

On paper, this roster is pretty awful, and they lack depth pretty much everywhere in the defense, but if the Philbilly starts playing like he did today every week, they might be a playoff team in the weak AFC, tbh....

Woodhead was low-key one of the best value signings of the offseason.... if he keeps this up, we'll finally have our replacement for Sproles....
