    son we were already within 55 yard field goal range and that blown call would have resulted in a 1st down for us making it a 50 yard kick.

    Saints would have at the very least milked the clock and got within 40-45 yard field goal range.

    He should but he's becoming a possession receiver at this point. Barely gets separation. I think Sproles is the guy to look for underneath. Brees is getting plenty of time. He's getting better protection than Brady.

    I agree, that false start call was a killer. I think they would have had a great chance for a FG. I didn't mind the PI calls. Seems standard nowadays. But the false start call was brutal.

    Every time Brees has gone deep along the sidelines, it's been in double coverage. This is a game that not having Lance Moore in the slot and running slants in the middle of the field is really hurting us. The young wr's Toon and Stills have not stepped up at all in this hostile environment so far

    my biggest problem with pass interference is that the refs pick and choose when to call it.

    it's basically the same thing as traveling is in the NBA. it happens nearly each and every play, yet the refs pick and choose when to call it and they usually only call it during critical moments.

    yes, or it would make a great field position for us.. two penalties for a combined, what 10 yards seem too little to call lakersgamery
