Clips i am afraid to say are not real contenders. And it has NADA to do with a loss to the Hawks.
They rely too much on the brillance of Paul and the better teams like Indy, MIami, Spurs and maybe even OKC will expose them by getting the ball out of Paul's hands. I know other teams try to execute that strategy as well .. but you need a sound defensive scheme and disciplined players to pull it off ... or a Lebron.
Clippers have always been a piece of car with tricked out rims. Flashy but with horrible performance when it counts. Anyone foolish enough to jump on the monkeyball express are already starting to jump off that bandwagon and with good reason. This team isn't going anywhere.
