Update on 2016 WR Reggie Hemphill of Manvel (24/7):
“I’ll just say I like them (Texas) a lot,” Hemphill said. “I don’t want to name any favorites yet, but I like them just about as much as you can like a school, if that tells you anything. You could say I’m paying very, very close attention to them.”

24/7 says that they have spoken with several sources around the team, and none of them mentioned stealing regarding Josh Turner. They believe it was an internet rumor that blew up. The Statesman reports that one of the reasons was an altercation with Pat Moorer, which is pretty brave.
Texas has offered 2016 5* DB Eric Monroe from North Shore HS in Houston. He's a teammate of Texas Commit Tristian Houston.
2016 CB Jared Mayden of Sachse with a real shocker. Texas did NOT make his top 10. His brother attends Rice, so not a real surprise that they are there.

If Banda is the lone person that Mayden has a relationship with, I think Strong have messed this one up. A lot can change before Signing Day 2016, but Mayden wants to make his commitment prior to his senior year and then shut things down. I really hope that Strong/Bedford/Vaughn follows up an their initial interest in Trayvon Mullen.
Charlie (obviously) has a lot to learn about recruiting this state. He gets a pass right now but that's not acceptable in a year or two.
QB Deondre Francois is committing today. You've probably never heard of him but he's down to Florida State (likely choice), Auburn, and Oregon. If he commits to FSU that may cause Locksley to commit to Texas; Florida State already has a QB committed so Locksley wouldn't want to be the 3rd.

I'm seeing conflicting reports of Francois committing to Auburn and FSU.
Now FSU has 3 dual threat quarterbacks, 2 of which committed minutes apart.
Looking like he had his mind made up no matter what. He was never going anywhere other than FSU.

I can't think of a three QB class off the top of my head.
I'm sure one will decommit before signing day. Some school will successfully recruit negatively against that 3 QB class situation.
