Suspended against BYU but both players remain on team. Winning on Saturday just got a bit more difficult.

It's weird to me that Harrison was relieved of his suspension on Monday, and then re-suspended on Wednesday. WTF?

I don't even get worked up about that dude because he's done exactly zero since he arrived.

The suspensions change nothing, the Texas offense was going to struggle no matter who was in there on the oline. As I understand it there wasn't a lot of separation between the starters and backups on the oline before the injuries and suspensions. You can bring all 3 back and Texas was still going to struggle, the biggest difference is that it is going to give some of our younger guys a chance to get some experience.

I'm actually hoping our first play from scrimmage is a play action pass to a streaking Marcus Johnson. I don't even care if we complete the pass, I just want to see the Texas coaches make a statement that we are going to execute our offense no matter who the personal is.

I begin to wonder if they're doing things such as missing class or showing up late and giving Coach Strong reason enough to suspend them. Wouldn't seem like enough to warrant suspension but I can't think Harrison would have done anything too severe after being reinstated only a couple days.

I don't know how much separation there was between 1st & 2nd team O-Line players but Estelle and Harrison we're at important positions as LT & RT in protecting Swoopes. Estelle was our next most experience lineman following Espinsosa and Harrison was reported as having great camps battling against Ced Reed. He'd beat Reed on many occasions so the potential for great play was there.

Hopeful we can somehow get past BYU and buy the staff more time to get things in order.

I was just observing what a dumb you have to be to get off suspension, and then get suspended again a day later.

Don't underestimate how stupid some of these guys are. Look at Bergeron. How do can you not keep your together long enough to make it through your senior season?

24/7 mentioned today OL Kennedy Estelle and OL Desmond Harrison are both being suspended because of failed drug tests.

While it's being reported they are only suspended for the BYU game, they are "likely finished" at UT.

2015 OT of Coppell, Texas just committed to the Longhorns. Had several offers which include Ohio State, UCLA and Oregon.
