    For those that don't remember, Wallace is the JUCO teammate of DT Brandon Moore so he already has a connection with UT. Both guys helped East Mississippi CC to the NJCAA national le this season. Wallace set NJCAA single season records for total offense (4,810 yards), passing yards (4,604 yards) and most TDs thrown (53). He's also had four games of at least seven TDs.

    Per 24/7, WR Ryan Newsome said his official visit to Texas is now "pending."

    He doesn't know if he will take an official to UT and will decide in a few weeks. He's been to Ole Miss and has Tennessee and OU scheduled.

    Too bad considering Texas is actually starting to develop their passing game now and we will have Swoops for 2 more years and behind him we have Heard and the kid from New Mexico. Our passing game is going to be in good hands for the next 5 seasons.

    A quick quote from JUCO OT target Martinas Rankin of Mississippi Gulf Community College, per 24/7.

    "Me and a couple of my teammates have been talking about possibly going out for an official visit", Rankin told Horns247.

    Those teammates includes Auburn commit ATH Jason Smith (ranked as the 12th best player in JUCO) and A&M commit S Justin Evans who had a brief connection with the Texas staff back in August.

    It is worth noting, that Rankin said in an interview with one of the Mississippi schools, that he, basically, was zoomed in on three schools, Miss. State, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. He calls them his favorites.
