Funny quote. Being so tall, I wonder if Gentry has ever had to look up to one of his OL.![]()
More quotes from LB DeMarco Boyd of Gilmer (OrangeBloods). He mentioned his brother, Kris, will be announcing his decision at the Army All-American Bowl in January and he should follow shortly after that.
"I liked the atmosphere of it. I could see myself playing for them," Boyd said. "They really opened my eyes up and it put them on top of my recruiting list. I didn't think it was going to be that fun, the atmosphere that good. I felt like I was at home."
"I'm really just waiting right now, since I'm only a junior. I'm waiting for more offers to come in, just sitting back, chilling, doing my thing with my grades," DeMarco said. "Wherever (Kris) goes, I'll look at the school, see how the grades are, and then make my decision."
"I just liked the coaches, the kids. They're all coming together," DeMarco said. "It's like a brotherhood with the players and coaches. It's like family there."

I'm guessing no.
Everyone who reported on the "Under the Lights" camp in July said that dude is a legit 6'7".
The worst fake punt ever from last night's Cal/USC game:
So there's this 5 star WR Tyron Johnson that has made official visits to Tech and even though LSU has been recruiting him pretty hard to play in home state, I was liking Tech's chances of landing him.........
.....all of sudden Auburn literally comes out of nowhere to be at the top of this kid's list....

Smh
Hate it when they start recruiting a guy Texas is in on.
I remember Mack did an in-home visit with QB Nick Marshall and then his recruitment came to a halt when Auburn got involved. And that was when Auburn was transitioning from Chizik to Malzahn and had a 3-9 record.
Some shady shady .
We just have to...
I thought you were going to go Frozen for a second.
Tallahassee police gonna Tallahassee police...
When I have little TFloss chirren running around, this thread will be overwhelmed with Disney references.
Update on RB Soso Jamabo of Plano West (Scout):
"It was a great way to start off the playoffs," Jamabo explained. "We came out and did what we wanted to do. We played well as a starting core and I think we are going in confident to our next game."
"Brian Kelly (of Notre Dame) came out see me a couple of weeks ago, but coach Mora is my man (too), so I was real happy to see that," Jamabo said with a big smile. "Coach Mora, an NFL coach now the coach at UCLA it is awesome to have a guy like that come out and watch me play."
"I really got to see what the whole Westwood experience (on the official visit to UCLA) like you would expect, so it was a whole awesome day and an awesome experience for me," Jamabo informed.
"Although they took an 'L' it was still a great weekend. It showed a little bit more that they took and 'L' and still showed me a great time. They took and said we are going to come back string and still bounce back."
"I definitely want to try and get out to Texas," Jamabo explained. "They are definitely on the map again."
"It definitely evened out," Jamabo stated. "It was both great official visits and I had a great time on both, so it has definitely evened back out."
Per 24/7, LB Malik Jefferson had a nice phone call with Coach Strong before his first round playoff game. He is attempting to schedule visits to UT and UCLA before he makes his final decision on December 19th. He'll be in College Station this evening.
“He just gave me motivation for today and he wanted me to focus on today,” Jefferson said. “That's why I like Coach Strong – he's an in-the-moment guy. He cares about what's happening right now and not what might happen in the future.”
“People are getting weird because I haven't scheduled a visit to Texas,” Jefferson said. “But I've been to Texas more than I've been to A&M.”
JUCO CB Justin Martin of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M who UT has offered:
24/7 saying S DeShon Elliott will not be at A&M tonight.
Apparently, S DeShon Elliott is in a car with a bunch of Rockwall-Heath players (including A&M commit OT Trevor Elbert) on their way to the A&M-Missouri game.
As much as I love the current uniform/helmets, these look pretty sweet!
For the old-timers on this board, Malik Jefferson's recruitment reminds me of Anthony-Michael Hall's recruitment with State in "Johnny Be Good". I'm just waiting for Gary Delaune from KENS to come out in a God awful suit to report on it.
Well, there ya go.
I don't care for the metallic but it feels like the uniform text/numbers already had a metallic look to them.
