I don't think Texas can. Texas will take a class of 28-30 (approximately), and right now they sit at 18. So they have room for 10-12 more players. They will take at least one more OL, Brandon Hodges is a good guess even though Alabama has picked up their interest in him. Notre Dame commit OT Jerry Tillery is another guy that staff has kept contact with. Ryan Newsome (or another slot guy) and potentially another outside guy (D'erren Wilson, A.D. Miller etc.). Two seems to be the number when you talk about TE's. Another RB (Brossette, Guice or Warren). The staff have been all over QB Matthew Merrick, and has offered him a spot as a walk-on. He could get an offer closer to NSD if the staff wants another guy.
Offense
QB - 1 (maybe)
RB - 1
WR - 2
TE - 2
OL - 1
Texas currently has 3 DL commitments (1 DT, 2 DE's) and would probably take a DT or two more alongside a third DE. Two LB commitments (Hager could spin down to DE), and Texas is probably looking to add two more (Malik and an ILB). If Texas misses out on Malik, things could get interesting. There are currently two safeties committed and Texas is probably looking to add 2-3 CB's and a safety more.
DL - 3 (2 DT's, 1 DE)
LB (1 ILB, 1 ILB)
DB (3 CB's, 1 S)
Thats 15, 16 if you count another QB, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this shapes up. As of now, LB Malik Jefferson, OL Connor Williams and OL Connor Garrett are all early enrollees and could count towards last years class. I'm not entirely sure about S Jamile Johnson, but I think he is December grad as well.
