I wouldn't call it "publicly ripping" A&M or something worthy of labeling him as "classless", "pussy", etc. It's not like he got on Twitter and directly called Sumlin a liar, and that opportunity was definitely there. I think A&M fans are understandably hot because Malik laughed at the Terminator GIF blowing up Kyle Field and Mack de-committed due to Malik's decision. Nothing to see here, imo.

Aggies can take it that way, I saw it as a kid bragging about having Strong as his mentor. But I can see Aggies thinking that it's a tweet about Aggies since all Sumlin has shown is little character as a leader and not having a hold of his asylum. Love how everything that I've read is Aggies bashing the kid but nobody has ever backed up Sumlin, shows a lot from the Aggies fan base.

The reaction would be similar had Malik simply tweeted out defensive statistics for UT and A&M after his commitment.

There's not much he can say right after his decision that wouldn't get picked apart.

Well I'm sure that was his intention. I'm sure, if possible, he would have his guy the day after Snyder was fired. But as we all know, bonuses are generally realized at year end. We will see who he ends up with, as this is going to be career-defining for him at A&M, but it will be the day after whichever bowl game our future DC will be coaching in (if I had to guess).

Kris Boyd almost certain to pick Texas
Holton Hill likely to pick Texas (A&M almost certainly out)

Yes A&M has been beating Texas in recruiting, but recruits are seeing that the top DCs out there don't want to hitch the wagon to the Sumlin train and they are seeing that the last few classes for A&M full of 4 and 5 stars is not yielding results on the field.

Holton Hill has never been a big A&M target. Sheffield is the big DB in this class, and he will be an Aggie. You can have Hill and Boyd, we'll take Sheffield.

Murray will be an Aggie.

I asked him if I called Malik a pussy, because it was implied that I had. I'm not sure how that is being a , but ok. TFloss is one of the only decent horn fans on this site, and every Aggie on here has thanked him for providing recruiting updates throughout the years.

The only threat for Murray, as TFloss pointed out, is the MLB.

- Longhorns can't ignore how much Aggies kicked Longhorns ass in the recruiting trail the last two years.
- Aggies can't deny that Longhorns have been resurrected from the death on Friday.
- Longhorns like where their class is headed.
- Aggies also are enjoying their class.
- Aggies didn't get a guy who now they realize that they don't want anymore. Aggies victory in their eyes.
- Mack decommitted and now Aggies realize that he is a premadonna and they don't want him anymore, another Aggy victory.
