That would take some balls and would be very pathetic on his part.
Update on DT Du'Vonta Lampkin from Inside Texas...we all know he's been rumored as a soft commitment for months now, but apparently the hiring of Jay Norvell gave UT more insight on what's been going on behind the scenes. Story goes that when Lampkin received a UCLA offer at the end of last year, Strong told him he would not consider him a part of this class if he took a visit. That rubbed Lampkin the wrong way and he's been planning a National Signing Day flip to Oklahoma ever since. All of the OU staff knew about it (including Norvell) and OrangeBloods received a detailed email on the situation last week. He's still scheduled to be in Austin this weekend, however.

OrangeBloods said they received a detailed email last week on Lampkin's plans.
I didn't post about it here because the email was anonymous.
Scout reporting DT/DE TJ Fehoko of Salt Lake City, UT has de-committed from Colorado and he's been speaking with Texas for a while.
They don't think this one will happen, but it's worth mentioning.

Per OrangeBloods, OL Sam Awolope of Fort Bend Marshall says he's changed his mind about visiting Texas.
The TCU staff convinced him to attend their Junior Day the weekend of the 31st, so as of right now, the official visit is off.
Per 24/7, JUCO All-American WR Dominique Reed of Coffeyville CC will officially visit Texas this weekend.
He was being recruited by Coach Norvell at Oklahoma.

Is Higdon still confident in his big secret he's been talking about? Burton says he knows what he's talking about and it's very unlikely to happen.
Thats some hoe ass !
This should make for a awkward official visit this weekend.
Really weird that he is first cousins with Tech commit Breiden Fehoko but they barely know each other.
Not sure why Tech hasn't offered him either unless he just doesn't fit the style they want.
I think it's a safe bet that Stoops put him up to it. Lampkin may be salty but I doubt he would want to screw Texas like that without some persuasion.
He's been backing off a little bit lately, but promises he'll reveal what it is either way.
The timing of your question is crazy considering what QB Kyler Murray just tweeted:

Word is Murray's father is on the visit as well.
I think Kyler would be the odds on favorite to start for UT next season if he signed. Not kidding, he that good...

OrangeBloods saying Strong and staff will have an in-home visit with QB Zach Gentry tomorrow night.
Pretty sad if an Aggie alumni is on board with his son going to UT.
lol aggy
Could be hired as a coach.
Found this article from december, wonder if new norvell was involved during this and helped in getting Kyler to stop by Austin..
