Does anyone have the espn video on Murray visiting Texas on the day it happened? Apparently the hosts were giving reasons why he should choose Texas over Aggy. I have seen the link posted somewhere on one of the boards but now I cant find it.
Kris Boyd recently tweeted:
kris23db: Setting up the commitment date! It'll be official by tomorrow

$20 that he postpones. Who is in?

I thought Demarco Boyd was at A&M for junior day too?
I thought he was too, but he wasn't on the list and they didn't confirm he was in attendance.
Either way he still has not been offered. I'm surprised they didn't offer OL Jean Delance either.
best place for him is okie st, imo, but i think he ends up in Austin
24/7 saying in-home visits for QB Kyler Murray are being arranged and the current schedule is A&M on Thursday and Texas on Friday.
It is said that Murray will inform both coaching staffs of his decision before Signing Day, but his actual announcement may wait until then.
WR Van Jefferson of Brentwood, TN has committed to Ole Miss.
Update on CB Davante Davis from 24/7...he is still scheduled to officially visit Auburn this weekend, but they're saying it's "less and less likely" he's going to flip because Auburn is in a numbers crunch. The interesting part for Texas, however, is Strong may be telling Davis a visit to Auburn gives up his spot in this class as they are bringing in CB Sheldrick Redwine this weekend.
Going to get really interesting with Warren if Brossette flips to Texas this week.
This is a great video, kid can ball.....a few things that I noticed here that I'm sure Charlie and company are working on is his footwork. The stuff he can get away with in HS will get him clobbered in college.
Also, did you notice that everytime he throws the ball, he taps it first? I've heard a few QB gurus say this isn't a good habit to get into....lets the D know that the pass is coming....
More from QB Kai Locksley of Baltimore, MD (Scout):
“I was looking for comfortability throughout the campus and the players,” he told HD. “I was looking to see a little bit more in depth what the offensive scheme was going to look like. I was looking to see if my personality fit in with the University of Texas and if I could see myself doing things I want to do here for the next four years and if I could call this place home.”
“I definitely feel like all those things were met,” said Locksley, the No. 24 QB in the country. "Going into the trip I was looking for a couple of things. I saw a lot of those things and more to be honest with you. I thought the visit went really well and I enjoyed myself.”
“He (Malik Jefferson) treated me just like any other person and he acted like he was any other person,” Locksley said. “It was real cool to see a guy of that stature be as natural as he was. He’s just real humble. He broke it down to me how it is and elaborated on his path and how it could help me, how he’s been absorbed at the University of Texas. It was a lot of good things.”
“When I got around the guys, and even other recruits who weren’t committed, we all just gelled and were having a blast,” he said. “We all liked everyone’s company. It’s not what you see too often prior to going to a school.”
“I met with Coach Watson today and we did a lot of talking,” Locksley said. “He said what they did this year was due to what they had but it’s not necessarily what they wanted to do. He believes like a guy like me, they want to go fast, run read-option and have tempo. They need a guy who can do those things athletically and believe that I have that athletic ability to do so and the pocket presence as a passer.”
“I’m definitely taking my time with things. I go at my own pace,” he said. “I don’t really let outside things effect what I’m doing. I’m going to get back home, step away from everything, review my official to FSU and my official to Texas. Everything will be done on my time."
“I’ll probably quietly commit to either school I’ll go to a day or two prior to National Signing Day and then go public with it on NSD.”
DE Charles Omenihu talks about his official visit to Texas (Scout):
"Man the highlight of the trip for me was just getting to be around the players and getting to know who I am going to be around," Omenihu said.
"It was also unreal that all of the fans and people around there were recognizing us and know who we are."
"Shiro (Davis) was great," Omenihu continued giving his player host a shout out.
"A lot of what they told me supports the in-home visit," Omenihu explained. "The position I will be playing is the 'Fox' position, which is weakside defensive end, they call it the 'Fox' in their defense."
"My playing time depends on where I am. If it takes me all next year to get there or not. I would like to get up to 250-255 pounds."
"They (Texas fans) will be in store for a surprise on signing day," Omenihu said as he ended the interview.
Quotes from LB Cameron Townsend after officially visiting Texas (Scout):
“It was great being down there. This was actually the first time that I got to be around this many recruits this closely,” Townsend said. “I have to say that this visit really put the nail in the coffin for me. When I gave my word, I was a strong commitment, but after this, no matter what, I’m a Longhorn.”
“I didn’t get to talk with a lot of the guys who are not committed, but I did catch up with Soso (Jamabo). He seemed like he was having a good time,” Townsend said. “He and I used to play basketball against each other so we talked about that for some time. Then of course I asked him when he is going to commit. He told me on National Signing Day. I told him that I hope to see him here at Texas.”
“You can tell that coach (Charlie) Strong was busting it to get those guys on board. I know we will end up with some of those guys for sure,” Townsend said.
“I got to talk to guys in my class, but also guys on the roster (Naashon Hughes, Antwuan Davis, Jacorey Warrick are a few guys in particular mentioned). I found that the guys are really taking this coaching staff and their message,” Townsend said. “It’s great to get the info firsthand. I know that what the coaches are telling us is real and the players are saying the same. You hear a lot in recruiting. It was good to know that it was all real."
“It’s good to know that I am at a place with genuine people.”
“My dad was already happy with my choice, but after this weekend he told me again, ‘I’m glad you picked Texas,’” Townsend said.
I knew Mom would win. Probably didn't hurt that our offense is supposed to change to spread and our recruiting class has the potential to be top 5.

Now there's 8 spots available.
Up to 10 available if CB Davante Davis flips and if the staff thinks OL Ronnie Major isn't qualifying.
UCF has money to wipe ass with.
If big 12 expands, i want those guys.
