    I really wonder what Dirk could do if he wasn't a 1st option. Could he still put up good numbers in a reduced role? I guess we'll see in a few years

    Oh , a HOF player with a PER of 24 and shooting near 50/40/90 for the season could still produce as a 2nd/3rd option? Who the would have thought!

    Umm he's not producing anything as a 2nd/3rd option right now since he isn't one. You'd think he'd still put up good numbers in a reduced role, but I'm just wondering if he can handle not being the first option since he's done it for so damn long. Not everyone is Duncan.

    Okc doesn't match up with the Mavs particularly well. Okc would probably still win, but it's gonna be a tough 6 or even 7 game series.

    Coaching between the two teams is the main difference maker.

    OKC had like a 10 game win streak vs the Mavs before the last 2 times the teams met
    they match up extremely well

    Mavs with no rim protectors or athletes
    have to get fluke 3 point shooting and potato decision making from Russel Westbrook to beat them

    Of course he could. He's unselfish just like Duncan is. Not saying Dirk's prime was as good as Duncan's prime, but they are wired the same way to care more about team success than their numbers.
