Uh oh. Aggie trying to point that thumb towards Austin now
"@BDavisAAS: BREAKING: #Texas WR Kendall Sanders and Montrel Meander charged with sexual assault, 2nd degree felonies. Bail $75k. Story soon. STATesman"
Has Strong lost control?
Uh oh. Aggie trying to point that thumb towards Austin now
personally, i've always thought it's been pretty strange to point out the transgressions of players from other schools. it's an ebb and flow and the one constant in college athletics, and all of sports really, is that all teams at one point will have a player or several players who are de able human beings.
Hence my joke about Strong losing control.
Thank goodness lolUTSA's pedo recruit never made it to campus.
They'll probably end up starting at Aggy soon enough....
but but theyve won a le and been to another one in the past decade.
dumbjohn is such a stupid got. goes/went to UTSA too so hes a walmart longhorn. T-shirts are always the most obnoxious and re ed fans tbh.
Damn just noticed one of the dudes involved was Montrel Meander. UTSA recruited him hard, think he was on his way to Washington St with Leach before UT offered late in the cycle. If the affidavit holds these guys are ed tbh.
Good one.
There are rumors out there that 2 more aggy players have been arrested for armed robbery, hope it ain't true cause this is getting old already. Wish these dumbass kids would wake the up.
#YESoffiSIR
I found that hilarious. I was kind of surprised that you did too though.
Between Texas, Aggy, and Toad Aggy we could field a pretty good penal league team.
Have to just laugh at it at this point.
Which er?
So 4 horns dismissed from the team yesterday?![]()
Warned you about that er.
False. The two horns who raped a teenager did happen though. As well as the other two who were dismissed yesterday.
How long are we going to play this game? It's collegiate athletics, there are bad kids in every school. Get over it.
5 horns gone in two days.
Lol Strong. Warned you about this er.
Trash talking and joking over misdemeanors for pot, drinking, shoplifting, etc is all fun and games. But when the allegations are sexual assault and armed robbery I would hope we could halt the play games and be a little more mature. To use these opportunities to take jabs at a school are embarrassing on both sides from all these posts I'm reading. The thoughts should be with the victims and that justice should be done regardless of your school allegiance. Sounds like some serious jail time is deserved when you read allegations for parties involved.
they can film a reboot of the longest yard at each of the colleges here in texas. , even UTSA had to kick off some players from the team a year or two ago due to criminal charges.
couldn't agree more. this is embarrassing for all the texas schools. and truthfully, i think that some of this starts in high school. i can say that when i played ball in high school, about 30% of my teammates partied to excess and were pretty misogynistic. i can't even imagine what kind of self-en lement a blue chip player feels and how invulnerable they feel when they get to college. these players need to understand that as much as we worship football here in texas, football does not transcend personal conduct and criminal conduct is not to be ignored or tolerated.
I didn't see any horns showing any remorse for anyone when it wasn't their players doing the bad. I hope anyone who commits a serious crime is punished accordingly.
That affidavit made me sick to my stomach. They will get what they deserve. I am not laughing at all over some of these allegations but I am laughing at the Horns who were having a field day with this over the past month only to have it come right back around to them. You don't see A&M fans making posters and memes about this. Everyone understands how serious the allegations are. Just discussing it on a message board here.
The entire point was how talking trash about this type of thing is re ed in the first place. Even if it is a "minor" or misdemeanor charge, even those end up ruining a kids future. I don't think that is funny either.
apparently, this is not confined to the football teams (or the state of texas):

Yup. It's all fun and games until a horn does it. I don't recall any horn on here feeling bad until their players committed crimes. Then it's let's think of the victims. Certainly didn't prevent them from making jokes about Claiborne and Golden's crimes.
Hornsessed
You care more about the horns and Aggies than your own team.
