Goodwill, of course. I've stated before the following:

    1) 5 > 4
    2) I'd rather see TD make it 5 =5 rather than see
    3) The Kang get #3

No bull . You guys look great. Don't it up for me.
While I'm not as scared of Miami now as I was a year ago, I'm not really getting that giddy just yet. Last year we looked dominant at this point too. The GSW series was our wake up call (this year it was round 1) and we demolished Memphis in the WCF. Now we're in the process of beating up a Thunder team missing their best weapon not named Durant. Hard to deny how good the guys look right now, but a lot of teams tend to stop looking so good when they go up against Miami .

Still, we basically beat them last year () so I have no doubt we have it in us to beat them this time around. Still, nothing is ever for certain against LeBrawn.

Nope, no one can take 2011 from me. Not even butthurt Spurs fans. Why talk ? Your Spurs are going to win another Silver Ball. You should be ing a puddle right now. Be thankful that Serge ain't playin'.
I agree fully why talk ! But why would their fans be butthurt? Either or 2011 was your year! What a playoff run for you guys! You went through a tough group and won it all! Period. I just hope the Spurs finish the job this year.

Two of the games with Memphis went to OT right? Those could have gone either way! We were not on a roll like this last year! Those games a game or two go against you and it's a different series! We did not demolish Memphis, all games except game one was close. I agree on the rest though! Good stuff!

We blew them out of the water in game 1, we were destroying them in game 2, they had a big double digit comeback capped off by the Tony Allen flagrant flop to tie the game, and we dominated the OT session. Game 3 was a game where they jumped out to like a 20 point lead or close to it in the first quarter, and much like game 3 against the Clips a couple of years back, the guys just kept playing, didn't panic, caught up. That game also went to OT where we again manhandled them. Game 4 was a blowout

Memphis basically had 2 good quarters the entire series (4th quarter of game 2, and 1st quarter of game 3)

I don't remember game 4 being a total blowout! I remember us closing it though at the end! I agree on game 2, the Spurs blew that huge lead and nearly lost that game which could have changed the series! I guess games 2 and 3 were very close towards the end, unlike this series where we have just floored them from the beginning pretty much after Q2!!!! Spurs just look radar locked and on a mission, flat out.

BTW game 4 was not a blowout at all! 0:48 89-86 Marc Gasol makes 6-foot jumper (Jerryd Bayless assists) With 48 seconds left they weere only down three! Thats a very winnable game! Most of those games were close as I said.

I can agree there, this series though just feels different! Game 2 went to OT even though we had a big lead! This year we win by what 35 in game two? No sweat! Totally different series! I hope we can sweep though.

The perimeter guys will have to step up on defense without his help defense there to cover their mistakes.

On offense Adams, Nick & PJII can probably combined get close to his PPG in those minutes, given Russ and KD will take a few extra shots to offset no Serge as well.

The biggest impact will be messing up the rotations and his help shot blocking, they can adjust but it wont be easy.

Series went back to 50/50 I think, I would have said 60/40 to Thunder before this. I w

I wouldnt mind if the Spurs won it all if Spurstalk didnt exist, those tossers dont deserve a team like the Spurs and it will be fun to watch that board once their old boys retire and the franchise drops back to mediocre results at best.

    2) Russell is playing very mature, afraid of nobody, and will rebound even more.

    3) KD seems very aggressive again. Good sign for us. Aggresive KD = victory!
Point #1 is something that has been lost in the (understandable) fear of how much the loss of Serge will hurt. Tony Parker is not 100%, and even at 100% he had no prayer of stopping Russell. That has to be factored in. We have two of the most athletic point guards in the game in Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson. We didn't have Reggie the last time we tussled with San Antonio in the WCF. Throw Russell, Reggie and KD out there -- who do you guard? San Antonio is scary on offense, which is why I think people are hitting the panic button after losing Serge. That said, so are we for San Antonio. They have had no answers for Russell, or Reggie. With Serge out, OKC may end up going smaller more often, which means more KD/Russell/Reggie, which San Antonio has only the faintest prayer of stopping.

We may have lost some defensive presence, but we still have a stable of guards that can rip San Antonio's interior apart.

IIRC, that was before Ibaka's injury.... because they're such an annoying-ass team, I still was expecting Collison and Adams to have a fluke-ass series to replace Ibaka's production, but thankfully, that hasn't happened
