If you're Spo, you have to start big in Game 2 IMO. I thought Hibbert/West set a tone early and were aggressive inside freeing up some good looks in the perimeter for Indy. You can't let a team that struggles offensively to have those good looks.

Bosh won't shoot that bad in Game 2 and Haslem is capable of hitting a jumper so I think the spacing issue will correct itself.

Bron will be much better but him having to guard West for heavy minutes will take its toll over the course of a game/series....

Well if Indy wins the next three, they have a real good shot of going to the Finals.

Doubt it. they need to win 3 games and be up by 20 in game at the half 4 if they want a chance.

I disagree, but it's probably a coin toss on what to do. I think they should stick with the small. Their best runs came when small. The game got out of hand in the third quarter and that was when they went big. Their spacing was awful.

Our bench isn't what it used to be so Bosh is going to have to do better. Can't have a game 7 finals performance and expect to come out on top.

If it was still the Roy from the Atlanta series than I agree with staying small. But Hibbert gets a massive chubby every time he plays Miami, pretty undeniable at this point as he put up 19/9 today despite not shooting well.

When he's that engaged, he's still a force especially against the team with the weakest interior left in the playoffs.

Harlem/CN: "told ya Heat do not get calls" ...
    Awaiting on thread ...

Whiny Spurs fans: well Silver I am sure wants his first Finals to be potentially Indy/SA.
JVG shifting on Harlem's theory Heat fouled, Indy didn't.

Well, while ROY playes well against MIA, you can still survive him scoring 20 PPG and win. You can't survive him making a massive defensive impact at the same time.

Chalk this down as a a game that the Champs didn't bother to show up for. Indiana had a fluke offensive game. That isn't going to last, tbh.

Vogel deserves a lot of credit, especially since Spo was pretty erratic this game.

Evan Turner being glued to the bench would be a huge boost for the Pacers moving forward tbh....

What's different with this Miami team vs last year? I don't watch them much, tbh.
They're just progressively worse due to aging/fatigue from the 4th le run, tbh..

Losing Mike Miller also hurts, too, since they had 0 shooters shoot over 40% from 3 during the regular season..he was also a much better rebounder/passer/defender than Allen/James Jones..

Ray Allen and Battier look completely finished as players, too(Battier was finished last year, to be fair)..the Spurs just matchup very well with them, and I have to assume that Pop learned a lot from last year's Finals(such as putting a leash on Manu in a potential Heat-Spurs series)..

It'll be interesting. I think they start big especially when Battier isn't giving you anything.

Ray still has clutch 3s left in him before Miami is done.

Game over. What's the formula for Game 2 heat fans.
Offensively they're fine but Lebron needs to average 30+ and bring them offensively. I'd also like to see Miami attack the rim more, just demoralize Hibbert since he's as soft as they can be.

Defensively the Pacers are getting whatever they want. Good news is Indiana's not exactly a great offensive team . Easy fix for Miami at this point. In photography world, we call this a test shoot.

Would love to see Indy win with LeBron playing well. But I think this game is fool's gold.
