I'm loving that Kawhi is getting all these interviews, segments, and becoming more a part of the face of this team. He has becoming impressively well-spoken imo![]()
I think OKC's potential success in going to small depends on the foul status of Leonard. If Kawhi is in trouble, it would be hard for the Spurs to handle the Thunder's small-ball. It wouldn't be just because Leonard is the best Durant defender in the league, but also that it would take Danny out of his free-safety role and force Pop to play Mills/Beli extended minutes even if they are getting picked apart on D (more of a concern for Marco right now). A similar thing is true if Duncan gets in trouble, since the Spurs wouldn't have two low-post options (three counting Leonard) to disrupt Durant.

Their small ball line up can't force SA into taking those shots IMO unless the Spurs really play sloppy (bad spacing, late passing, not setting firm screens, settling).
While I agree, I don't remember them going small w/ Collison tho. If they do, I'd imagine the Spurs to look for Tim more in the post considering he's their best PnR big defender and weakest low post defender.
Spurs going up 2-0 would be a great birthday present for me!
Go Spurs!!![]()
it could be a long series and maybe not. Spurs seem to have the right mindset and that's definitely a good thing.![]()
I noticed that too. He use to be very awkward when it came to interviews.
Happy Birthday!
happy bday![]()
Happy bday, hope it's a good one![]()
KD, you can be in my Framily any day of the week
/s
hope TNT is burning through all these KD videos sensing a short series, tbh
He needs to move about 15 feet closer to the basket...and then practice his passing in the paint.
Good God!! Enough with the KD and his Mama !!
Please TNT stop talking about Ibaka for God's sake I beg you.
Okc has to be more physical on defense maybe some hard fouls try and send a message.or like barley said they could try a little zone .im interested to c if brooks can come up with some adjustments without ibaka after their game 1 debacle
Brooks is kinda screwed. If he plays his best defenders, he loses some offensive capability (and vice versa).
Spurs' gameplan is going out there and beating the team they're supposed to beat, no trash-talking, no surprises...
No doubt Perkins, sef and collision going 0 in the scoring column doesn't help but they don't score much anyway.if they go small again the spurs have too many matchup advantages
