At this point, the Thunder are left searching for answers and grasping for straws. They have nothing left but to cling to rhetoric, gimmicks, and blind hope (in the form of the specter of a one-legged Ibaka).

The Spurs, on the other hand, have a mission. They've seen this movie once already, and they are determined to pen a new ending.

    Remember 2012.

Well said the Spurs truly are on a mission. Fortunately for us the Funder's version of a gimmick is crisp ball movement. I am sure they will effectively implement that on the fly midway in the conference finals and that will be big trouble for us!

Or should we say the spectacle? I am a very vengeful person when it comes to Spurs basketball, and seeing a s Ibaka run around a bit out there seems a fitting way to pile on to the demise of the Funder to me. Hope we see it!

I don't honestly know much about these refs (Scott Foster, Tom Washington and ____ Kennedy). If we play well enough, we will overcome the refs, although they sure took Leonard out of the game quickly enough last game. Don't doubt that they will do the same again tonight. I expect Durant and/or Westbrook to go off because they are both overdue, but I think we can survive one or the other - just not both at the same time.

If Durantbrook goes for 60-70 that still leaves them well short of 100!

    Ibaka dropping truth bombs...

"One thing I'm going to say ... I've been hearing a lot of people saying my team lost two games because I was out," Ibaka said. "It's not true. It's not true. I believe in my guys. I believe in my teammates, that they can do better, with me or without me. It's not an excuse because Serge Ibaka was not there. It's just that San Antonio the first two games, they played better basketball. We need to give them a lot of credit."

If both go off, we better hope that there's no third guy putting up 15-20 and that our offense is also clicking and putting up 105+. My biggest worry is that there's some flat shooting leading to fast break chances for the Thunder.

Really hope this isnt a game where the spurs "didnt bring it" and "they wanted it more". Just got to weather the storm early and play spurs basketball. Let Russell get angry and chuck up 26 shots

Spurs will be ready. The worst thing that happened to OKC is this 3 day layoff. Not only is it rest for the spurs but all the serge drama has to be a distraction for such a young team.

Take care of the ball and don't turn it over, man. If the Spurs can weather the home crowd momentum for the 1st quarter, it's in the bag. Even with Kareem Abdul Abaka playing.

The Spurs haven't won in OKC since March 2012. Today would be a huge win obviously.

I'm not sure we should attack the paint much when ibaka is on the floor because the refs will give him the benefit of the doubt, saying we initiated the contact. They will get away with murder down there. No, I'd have the team test his calf by forcing him to play some perimeter d and doing some pump fakes on his ass.

I say we run up and down as fast as we possible can on every play. He will be able to stay with us for the first quarter or so, but my guess is that once that leg starts getting some pressure on it, he will not be able to keep up.

If he can (keep up), then there was never any calf strain at all.

Al Jefferson can barely move without injury. Ibaka won't be that bad.

They should still go after him and make him work every second he's on the floor. He wanted to come back and play the Spurs so bad, so make him play.
