.@spurs’ bench avg. 49.0 PPG in its series v. OKC, the most for a bench in a Playoff series of 6+ games since DEN in ‘86 (49.3) (per ELIAS)
Duncan: "Baynes please don't break my back like you did to Batman"
To me that was the greatest playoff win for the Spurs in quite a while. They lose their most important offensive player for the second half, they survive good games from Durant, Westbrook and Jackson, they survive blowing a double digit lead in the fourth and blowing the opportunity to win in regulation - they survive all that and still take this game on the road. That was just as impressive as it gets.
NBATV replaying Game 6 right now
Kawhi had a two point game that ed up his stats..
Had he socred at least 10 points or his average 12 in that game he would have average 14 in this series..
Bump
The defining game of the playoffs last year. The toughest game we had imo. Look at how they played, against some of the stiffest compe ion in the league. Can this team return to that level? It's hard to imagine we'd go downhill so far so fast. This is the same group.
Bump. Can't believe it's already been a year, but one of the best playoff games in Spurs history.
I saw all the social media posts I made about this game in my timehop app today. Unreal how fast time flies. Won't ever forget that game.
Kind makes me a little sad. Around this time last year I flew down to San Antonio for games 1 and of the finals.
At least we had that moment of redemption. That was an incredible year for us. My favorite le we've ever earned.
Same here. One of my longer timehop feeds. From cursing out manu for missing FT to quoting Timmy's "we'll get it done this time".

that's right the Lance Stephenson meme was born right around the same time!
OMG it's been a year already, that game was flat out classic. Leonards block on Westbrook is one of my fave plays ever along with Tims turnaround shot at the end to seal it.Man I miss the Spurs.
Amen to that.
One of the best defensive team effort esp. by Green/Leonard I've ever watch by the Spurs.
COT DAMN RIGHT
This game was when I thought, no, I knew, we'd win the championship. Great memories of this game, I'm glad I bought a digital copy of it to look back on every now and again.
This and Game 5 of the 2014 NBA Finals were the best Spurs games ever to me. I've been watching since 1999, and those 2 games were the most impressive outings I've ever seen from the team.
I would agree and then put game 6 2003 where they broke over the hump against LA in LA, that game right there told me okay this team is winning the le and nobody is going to stop them. There might be a few more but those three for me stand out. Game 6 2014 was special though, they played their ass off to clinch it in OKC.
