yeah gotta choose the lesser evil between these two, even when you're not at all a Spurs fan.
The better "Disney" story is Spurs avenge 6 and that nucleus rides off into the sunset. But unfortunately, NBA will have Spurs plane crash if they had to, no one is beating their money team. Stern already had Popovich's family at gun point which is why he sat down Duncan with 28 seconds left.
Only LeBron fans and Laker fans who post on Spurstalk want the Heat to win tbh.

Miami and not the Spurs
They're lying, they just wanna get under the skin of Spurs fans. I have always admired Spurs business model, for one of the smallest markets in the NBA their FO is incredible. For the life of me, I can't understand why Lakers waited so long to rebuild a younger nucleus around Kobe and this is ultimately the rest. Magic warned about this and got ridiculous backlash when he said in 2011 its time to 'blow up the team.' Lakers surrounded an aging Kobe with an injured D12 and a fossil Nash with no youth around him. Meanwhile, Spurs FO has beautifully designed the likes of Danny Green, Kwahi Leonard, Belinelli, Splitter around their nucleus while underpaying their big 3.
To be fair with the Lakers FO, its as if Christ himself granted the Lakers every possible great FO during that 10 year run. Eventually, everyones gotta pay the piper.
