Marco allowed himself to get slapped?
I figure Leonard is on the bench with foul trouble again. People can go on and on about needing to play smarter but he was treated worse than a rookie with those calls against him. There's nothing he can do other than stay a foot away from him to avoid the whistle.
Marco allowed himself to get slapped?
Cut the TOs and SA will be fine !
There's live finals coverage right now on nbatv for those who are interested. Practice footage and interviews.
We got this. Spurs will be sharper this game and crispier passing will get us the W we need going into Miami.

yeah! That was hilarious!![]()
Im watching the Lebron conference, and someone ask him about Green getting hot in the 4th and he said that they dont want to leave him open at any time.
And then he detailed all 3 3PTs, what happen, who screened who, who passed Green the ball, etc.
He knew exactly what did Green did, he saw the plays on video more than once.
This confirms what we all assumed or knew, Miami knows Green can get hot and almost win the game by himself if you let him, or at least they think so.
That opens up the paint for TD...Greens value is huge.
nice analysis i agree, a few of spurs players are assets for what they DON'T do.
Reporter: "Why did you guys play so well in the fourth quarter?"
Belinelli: "Because we are the Spurs."
det dude![]()
did you guys see on NBA tv they were showing game 1 again, and the summary read "AC takes care of Heat in Game 1" NBA TV getting their ESPN on.
Spurs win Game 2 solidly:
Spurs 99
Cheat 92
Sorry - Miami by double digits.
Yeah I think Miami wins this one. Last two times we won a game 1 we had no business winning (Dallas and Golden State) we lost game 2.
Miami radio shows have been discussing strategy against Danny Green all week, too, even prior to game 1..I can't recall if I've ever seen a Spurs role player receive so much defensive attention, strategically..
I caught part of the crawl on ESPN that had a blurb about Manu's game of one stat line but couldn't get it all. Something to do with his 15+ pts and 11+ assists. Might have been along the lines of "first player with ..."
Anyone catch the whole thing? It didn't repeat.
First bench player in Finals history to drop the Points-Assists double-double IIRC..
Doesn't make sense because he went for 24-10 last year.
I think it has to do with age.
Manu Ginobili is the first player with at least 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists off the bench in an NBA Finals game since Michael Cooper for the Lakers in 1982. He's the first player ever with at least 15 points, 5 rebounds and *10 assists* off the bench in an NBA Finals game, since starters were first recorded in 1970-71.

Lebron will likely go off tbh. I'm sure this game will come down to the very end.

I am ok with Danny Crawford.
